More than a million deceased people got government stimulus checks amounting to nearly $1.4 billion.
This is less than 1 percent of the total stimulus payments that Congress shelled out as of April 30, says the Government Accountability Office.
Still, you’ve got to admire how far Democrat bureaucrats in the Deep State will go to benefit one of their most reliable constituencies. Think of how many of those deliciously free dollars flowed to the cemeteries in Chicago alone.
Another Democrat in good standing, Bill Clinton appointee U.S. District Judge Lynn S. Adelman, rushed to the ramparts to aid strip clubs that sued to get their share of the $600 billion Paycheck Protection Program administered by the Small Business Administration (SBA).
The SBA denies loans to businesses that “present live performances of a prurient sexual nature,” so the agency turned down four Wisconsin clubs operating under the name Silk Exotic Gentleman’s Club.
Moved by their plight, Judge Adelman issued a preliminary injunction rejecting the agency’s refusal of the clubs’ demand for stimulus payments.
“The government has singled [the strip clubs] out for unfavorable treatment based solely on the content of their speech,” Judge Adelman actually said.
As far as we know, no credible scientific study has revealed what kind of speeches that men who go to strip clubs pay to hear.
Perhaps researchers should consult the “articles” that the ACLU’s lawyers used to cite as “literature” to justify obscene publications back before decency laws were swept aside.
Emboldened by the Wisconsin clubs’ temporary victory, the Little Darlings strip club in Flint, Michigan, Baby Dolls in Dallas, and Cheerleaders Gentleman’s Club in Philadelphia also have sued.

Bradley Shafer, a Lansing, Michigan-based lawyer representing 40 strip clubs and other “adult” enterprises, is seeking $10 million in stimulus funds out of the federal treasury for his clients, according to the Washington Post.
“These are dire times,” Mr. Shafer reportedly said.
Indeed, they are, when strip clubs go a-begging in our debased culture.
But it’s not just dead people and strip clubs that the Democrats want to bless. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is still trying to extend the issuance of $600 on top of unemployment checks all the way to January 2021.
Since about half the U.S. workforce now earns more by staying home than going back to work, this would guarantee double-digit unemployment and stall any economic recovery.
If it isn’t clear enough where this is going, the Wall Street Journal explains: “Democrats can then blame Donald Trump for the high unemployment that their legislation sustains.”
Meanwhile, still holed up in his Delaware home, Joe Biden, the presumed Democrat nominee for president, told supporters, “We have an opportunity not just to rebuild the economy but to transform it.”
Seeing as how the Democrats are being swallowed whole by the young communists led by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her “squad,” this is no idle promise. They really mean to rip down America’s free enterprise system and replace it with some variant of socialism.
The militant wing of this movement is quite busy in the streets, looting, rioting, and tearing down statues of everybody from Christopher Columbus to Father Junipero Serra. As the vandalism and violence have spread, it has gone well beyond sincere protests over the death of George Floyd, police brutality, or even Confederate figures.
In Los Angeles, a statue of Raoul Wallenberg, the Swedish diplomat who saved thousands of Jews during the Holocaust, was attacked by a mob that also looted Jewish-owned stores and defaced synagogues with “BLM” and “Free Palestine” graffiti. Bet you didn’t see that on CNN.
The madness has spread all over the United States and even overseas as documented by Frontpagemag.com’s Daniel Greenfield. Statues of Winston Churchill, Gandhi, and Scotland’s 13th Century hero Robert the Bruce have been defaced.
In Philadelphia, a mob painted “murderer” on a statue of abolitionist Matthias Baldwin. In Boston, they vandalized the ‘Glory’ monument to the black 54th Regiment, which fought for the Union in the Civil War. Red paint and the hammer and sickle, communism’s symbol, are ubiquitous.
The Lincoln Memorial and the World War II Memorial in Washington were both defaced, and a mob defaced St. John’s Episcopal Church across from the White House, which earlier had been set afire. They also tried to pull down an equestrian statue of Andrew Jackson.
The leader of Black Lives Matter in New York, Hawk Newsome, flatly threatened more violence on June 24 on Fox News:
“If this country doesn’t give us what we want, then we will burn down this system and replace it. All right?”
Well, that’s clear enough. We’re still waiting for Democrats, including Joe Biden, to denounce the criminality. Apparently, condemning mob violence is “divisive,” but throwing bricks, setting fires, shooting cops, and wrecking whole districts is not.
Could it be that, combined with the Wuhan Communist coronavirus-induced economic meltdown, Democrats see value in these riots continuing right up to Election Day?
They could be wrong, however.
Horrified at lawlessness, obsequious genuflections to Marxist demands, and calculated economic misery, perhaps a majority of Americans will choose lawmakers like President Trump who actually love America.
Pray that a powerful yearning to preserve the United States is stimulated between now and November.
