Call me insane; I don’t care. We can’t keep the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) shut down during Operation Epic Fury. We can’t stop FEMA from responding to natural disasters. We must pay the civilian support staff for Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Border Patrol. The FIFA World Cup is also coming up, starting in June, and TSA currently doesn’t have enough manpower to conduct screenings at security checkpoints for those attending the tournament. It’s time to nuke the filibuster to end this circus.

Sure, President Trump signed an order that will pay TSA agents using funds from last year’s tax cut bill, but we need proper legislation to reopen the agency. The Democrats currently have no incentive to cooperate, even if the Republicans foolishly tried to meet their demands, which were met with a complete reversal at the last minute. These are legislative terrorists; drop a bunker buster on them.

I don’t care about honoring traditions anymore. I want to win, which is what the Democrats and their hordes of non-binary, weirdo, blue-haired, nose-pierced freaks at the gates are demanding. And even if Democrats pull off a win, they’re still unsatisfied because they’re all mentally ill, nine-plus-time COVID-boosted amoebas.

People fear what will happen if the GOP loses. Well, if we can pass our agenda and get our base animated, then who knows what will happen. It’s March, almost April. Pass the funding for DHS, pass the SAVE America Act, and pass another reconciliation package, and with no filibuster, get the MAGA agenda codified at light speed. If you cannot defend our agenda or can’t message it right, that’s your problem. In the words of the late Andrew Breitbart, if you can’t sell freedom or liberty, you suck.

The SAVE America Act ends the Democrats’ electoral cheating schemes, boosts the economy, and allows us to get things done. Speaker Mike Johnson has been skilled at maintaining stability despite a razor-thin majority — the man secured all 12 appropriations bills this winter, with Democrat votes for ICE funding, before Minneapolis turned into a war zone.

Also, the legislative filibuster can always be restored. Look, this is a gamble. It’s reckless, but we all know what will happen if Democrats win in 2026: impeach Trump, endless investigations, and we’re in a pit of legislative misery. Republicans should push these procedural changes and pass bills to give their members something to hammer home with their constituents.

What if another catastrophic terror attack occurs? There’s a slew of disasters that would require DHS assistance that are being sacrificed by Democrats because they hate Trump. Nuke the filibuster, fund the agency, and then get MAGA codified on steroids.

Now, if this happens, and right now, it’s probably not because that’s not how John Thune rolls, I wouldn’t be worried about Democrats: it would be McConnell, Curtis, Murkowski, and Tillis.

But since we’re just spitballing here, nuke the damn thing.
