President Trump did what Joe Biden could not, which was ending the war in Gaza. First, let’s get some things out of the way: Hamas started the war, Israel was right to invade the Gaza Strip in response, and all the death and destruction is squarely the fault of the much-degraded terror group. Personally, I’d rather have Israeli troops remain to wipe out Hamas. Still, the release of the Israeli hostages in exchange for a ceasefire was always their initial demand for a cessation of hostilities, a point that Hamas always rejected. Biden couldn’t break the impasse. Trump did, marking another time he’s outmaneuvered the Left, stripping an issue away from them.
This war is what got liberal animated, albeit through hatred of Israel and antisemitism. The Democratic Party base is awash with it, complemented by hordes of white youngsters who wish to see Israel destroyed. They demanded the war end. Trump made that happen, and now they don’t know what to do. They’re mouths are agape, much like Biden’s during his election-killing performance during the CNN debate last June.
A majority of Democrats believe Trump played no role or a minor role in the latest hostage deal (YouGov).

With peace comes another wave of Trump derangement syndrome—and the levels of coping from Democrats were astounding. First, there was dead silence for hours after Trump signed the agreement in Egypt. Later, it was sanitized statements about how great it was for the hostages to be released, all issued without acknowledging that it was all based on Trump’s ceasefire pitch in September. Others, like Liz Warren, made it about themselves. They can’t admit it: Trump outflanked them again. And the plunge into willful ignorance is also laid out in the polling.
In 36 hours, this president visited Israel, addressed the Knesset, met with families of the hostages, and then flew to Egypt to sign the ceasefire. He’s now back home. It’s a trip Joe Biden could never do without six months of vacation afterward.
President Donald J. Trump’s Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict:

1. Gaza will be a deradicalized terror-free zone that does not pose a threat to its neighbors.
2. Gaza will be redeveloped for the benefit of the people of Gaza, who have suffered more than enough.

He's the peace president. No doubt, this should put him at the top of the list for the Nobel Peace Prize next year. But let’s get back to this maneuver for a second. Trump truly is picking at the carcass of liberalism. He took the working class from Democrats, both white and non-white, took a chunk of the youth vote—Democrats no longer have a monopoly here—took a healthy share of union households, and is making inroads with the black voters, especially black men. Hispanic men are already in the MAGA camp. We’ve discussed this before, but it’s the Obama coalition that Trump assimilated. Now, he took one of the last issues that truly got Democrats energized without them knowing it.

All that whining, yelling, and assaulting of Jewish students on campuses for Trump to clinch the peace deal of the century here.
Democrats, congrats again on getting absolutely owned by Trump. At least make it a fight, not so easy.
