Amnesty is almost surely coming. Maybe not this year, but sometime in the not-too-distant future. The Republican Party will cave and give in. There are already some cracks in the Republican fissure, and they will only get deeper and wider. The squishy RINOs aren't going to find a backbone; they aren't born with one.
The Left has found its issue, the mountain upon which it will stand, fight, live, or die. More and more, all over the country, leftists are rising in protest against ICE, which means only in protest in favor of illegal aliens. Well, and against Donald Trump. Anything Trump is for, the Left's knee-jerk, brain-dead reaction is to automatically oppose it. But Trump is ultimately only the symbol, though I wonder how many Democratic Party members really understand that. The issue is political power. The Marxist Democrats want all of it. They want a China-style totalitarian government that gives the people all the rights Democrats will let them have, and forbids what Democrats want forbidden. Politics is always, forever, in every place, age, and clime about power. And some people, like Adolf Hitler, Vladimir Lenin, and the leadership of the Democratic Party, live only to have it. Unlike normal, decent people, they have no other reason for existence.
And that is why amnesty is coming. They will never give up until it does. And it is highly doubtful Mr. Trump will be able to deport 20-plus million people—or however many there are—who are illegally in the country. The Left is amassing every resource they've got—in Congress, in the states, in the courts, and on the streets and plains of America—to fight for these illegal aliens. It is becoming a test of wills between patriotic, traditional Americans and those who want to permanently remake the country in their own licentious, totalitarian image. The latter need the illegals to be given amnesty, citizenship, and the vote, though countless numbers of them already vote, and a Clinton judge recently announced that voter registration cannot be limited to only American citizens. The Left will try everything and won't give up until they have the power they crave. It's a test, a clash of wills.

And the question is, do we have the will to stop them?
I think Donald Trump does, but I'm not sure there are enough people in the Republican Party who do. Up till now, they've stood pretty firmly. But the Left keeps sledge-hammering the wall—incessantly, non-stop, irrepressibly—and they will never quit. As noted, cracks are already beginning to appear. Some Republicans will weary of the violence, weary of the noise, weary of the effort to stand up against evil, and eventually roll over and give in. I don't know when that will be, but it will be in the next few years, at the latest.
Good, godly people have limits beyond which they cannot go. "Goodness" implies a standard of right and wrong, and a conviction to uphold the right and reject, even fight against, the wrong as long as possible. But again, there are some weapons—evil things—good people simply cannot use without becoming evil themselves.
Evil people—and make no mistake about it, the Democrats are pure evil—have no boundaries, no standards, nothing that is off limits, nothing they will not do, no person they will not kill, no building they will not burn, no county they will not destroy in order to have power and rule over the ruins and destruction they have created. This is why, in history, evil so often conquers good, and nations and civilizations eventually collapse. Only virtue can save a civilization and a country, but that word does not exist in the Left's dictionary. And they have no reason to stop. To ever stop. They have no conscience, no morality, except for the god they create. And their "god" lets them do whatever they want to do—kill, burn, destroy—all at their own whim. And since it is their total will, since it is all they live for, they too often steamroll over anyone who gets in their way. Joseph Stalin and Mao Zedong didn't care how many people they killed as long as they had power. And the Democratic Party doesn't care, either.
You and I—decent, God-fearing Americans—can't do that. We can certainly fight for what is right and what we believe in, but there are actions that are off-limits to us. And if Frankenstein keeps coming back to life, how do we stop him? He'll keep coming until we kill him—or until he kills us.
Who has the greater will?
All too often in human history, good people get weary of fighting against an evil enemy that has nothing else to live for but its evil, and thus who never gives up unless it is totally destroyed. And when good people give up, evil wins.
We are in a battle of wills right now in America—our will to save traditional America, and their will to destroy it. They can, have, and will continue to use resources that our standards simply will not allow us to use. I can't go burn down somebody's business or shoot children or some innocent person in the neck. But the evil Left can. Has. Does. Will. How do you stop a monster with no conscience?
We can win. We defeated Hitler, Tojo, and the Soviet Union. We had the national will then to stand up and fight to the finish against evil. But that was a different America, a different time. The enemy, the evil, is not in Europe or Asia anymore. It's in our own country, and totally controls one of the major political parties.
