Well, let me caveat the title of this article a bit. Hitler did serve in World War I, but mainly as a messenger, a runner, between German war camps. I’ve read a lot about Hitler, but I don’t recall in my readings if he, personally, ever killed an enemy soldier. It is distinctly possible that he did, though again, that wasn’t necessarily his “job.” So, perhaps, in war, where people get killed a lot, Hitler did kill somebody, or somebodies. I just don’t recall off the top of my head.
But that’s not my meaning here. After he became leader of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party (the Nazis), and then became Chancellor of Germany in 1933 (then dictator), Hitler never personally went to the concentration camps, put a gun to a Jewish person’s head and pulled the trigger, or shoved someone into one of the gas chambers. He didn’t do that—personally. He never—personally—killed any of those people.
But we, rightly, blame him for every, single one of those deaths.
The same could be said for Vladimir Lenin. Again, as far as I know, Lenin never personally killed anybody. Stalin may have, in his early days as he was robbing banks and looting armored cars for the Bolsheviks. Again, my major point here is, after Lenin, and then Stalin, became head of the Communist Party in Russia and gained total power, they did not, personally, kill anybody (that I am aware of). The same with Mao Zedong in China, and I doubt Xi Jinping, who I believe is responsible for turning the Wuhan virus loose on the world—once in power, they didn’t pull the trigger on anybody or jab some poor soul with COVID. But we, correctly, consider Mao, Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Xi Jinping as among the most evil, despicable humans who have ever walked the face of the earth, mass murderers of billions of innocent human beings.
Why are they blamed for something they never—personally—did?
They are wholly guilty because of what they taught, of how they deceived their followers and convinced their sycophants that the world would be better off without millions of people who weren’t “like them” or who didn’t believe in the “revolution.” Hitler’s racial philosophy described a “Master Race,” that if the “strong” interbred with the “weak,” eventually the human species would go extinct, as has happened to many other species in history. Thus, the “sub-humans” must be destroyed for the survival of the species. The German people bought it; they believed in Hitler, and they killed countless millions.

Ideas have consequences.
Hitler’s philosophy cost millions of people their lives even though he, personally, never pulled the trigger.
The same is true with communism. Marx was bad enough, but Lenin was abominable: “We must hate—hatred is the basis of communism. Children must be taught to hate their parents if they are not communists....hatred is truly the ‘beginning of all wisdom.’” He taught his followers to hate, and Stalin learned the lesson well. The “revolution,” the great “socialist utopia,” could only be built on top of the bodies of millions of dead peasants and others. Mao Zedong and Xi Jinping believe(d) that religiously. As did Pol Pot, Castro, Ho Chi Minh, the Kims—all the Leftist, communist dictators. They, personally, didn’t do the killing. But their philosophy, their heinous, godless, barbaric, inhuman ideology, inspired millions of brainwashed, ignorant robots to become filled with hate and to go along with, and often directly participate in, the brutal slaughter of their fellow, innocent human beings.
Ideas have consequences.
I just read the following on “X” (I won’t give the poster’s name): “Erika Kirk needs to die. We need more heroes like Tyler Robinson.” Where does someone develop a hatred like that?
I hold Tyler Robinson responsible for killing Charlie Kirk—if, indeed, the courts prove him to be guilty. He has the right to a fair trial. I also believe that, if he is found guilty, he should be put to death. But that’s irrelevant to this article. WHY did Tyler Robinson (allegedly) kill Charlie Kirk? What was it that motivated him to do such a vile deed? What was he taught, what philosophy, whose philosophy did he imbibe to such an extent that he would go to the extreme of taking the life of another, an innocent, human being? And perhaps more importantly, where did he learn it? Who did he learn it from? He didn’t think all this hatred up by himself.
The Democratic Party—Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, MSNBC and the legacy media—didn’t pull the trigger that killed Charlie Kirk. But Adolf Hitler didn’t pull trigger that killed countless Jews in the Holocaust, either.
No Congressional Democrat or NBC reporter wrote on “X”, “Erika Kirk needs to die.” Neither did Vladimir Lenin.
But where did this person learn, where did he become filled with such malice, that he came to the conclusion that “Erika Kirk needs to die,” and “Tyler Robinson is a hero”?
Without Adolf Hitler there would have been no Heinrich Himmler or Auschwitz. Without today’s Democratic Party and its godless, Leftist, atheistic, hate-filled Marxist/Leninist ideology, there would be no Tyler Robinson.
Ideas have consequences. Virtuous ideas have virtuous consequences.
Evil ideas have evil consequences.
Maybe America ought to start teaching virtuous ideas again.
