This doesn’t compute to me why Democrats are so eager to keep illegals in the country; Democrats are protecting criminals. I understand the ideology behind it—more on that later in this article—but, as an American, it IS difficult to comprehend the mentality that wants countless millions of people illegally in the country, and forcing hard-working, taxpaying Americans to pay billions of their dollars to support these criminals. I don’t think like that and can’t understand anyone who does
It may not make any sense to me. Still, I think it does demonstrate the tremendous divide that exists in the country, that there are so many people, millions of them, who are belligerent, even violent, about keeping illegal aliens in America and paying for it with their tax dollars. They want those invaders to stay every bit as much, if not more, than you and I want them out. It obviously makes some kind of sense to those millions of Democrats who support it.
I’m certainly not opposed to helping people, and I think we ought to, but I do believe there are better ways of doing it than letting foreigners break our laws and teaching them that we are not a nation that honors our laws. Yes, let’s help people, but let’s do it legally and morally. Otherwise, in the long run, we AREN’T helping them. You don’t help people by teaching them lawlessness and immorality.
Most rank-and-file Democrats have no clue as to the ideology behind why the Democratic Party leadership, with its Marxist, globalist philosophy, is pushing this. And that’s even more frightening. One can argue ideology with an Obama or Gates, but how do you convince an ignorance and stupidity that won’t even listen? Most “common people” Democrats have no idea what this is truly all about. They just swallow whatever their masters tell them and follow along like sheep.
This is what the American education system and cultural zeitgeist led by the media have produced. After years and years and years of the Left, of Democrats, shouting racism and sexism and Nazism and “America is unfair,” countless millions of people have absorbed it, believe it, and vote for Democrats. And, of course, the older Americans who grew up in World War II, the patriotic generation, are dying off. And their children are getting older. I’m 70 years old, and I suspect many of my readers are near my age or older. What’s the country going to be like in 20 years when WE’RE dead? Well, thankfully, you and I won’t care. But it’s a frightening thought—what our children and grandchildren are going to have to face if this horror isn’t destroyed immediately. And, sadly, it isn’t going to be. The rot is too deep.
Propaganda works on people who don’t think. And the Left has been propagandizing Americans, successfully, for over a generation now. And hence, we have today’s Democratic Party.
The leadership, of course, knows what it is doing. It has accepted the atheistic, Marxist ideology with all that entails—its anti-Christian morality, and socialist, government-dominated economy. It has been seeping into the minds of people, especially younger people, for a long time now, without much opposition, frankly. There has been the occasional voice crying in the wilderness, the Ronald Reagan, the Rush Limbaugh, but those voices were simply swamped by a “mainstream media” and education system that turned hard Left, preached anti-Americanism and anti-Christian virtues, and the tidal wave swept the country. Some of us had godly parents who taught us patriotism and morality, but even that wasn’t totally successful. My parents—my dad fought in World War 2—have both passed away. They had three children, and two of them are now radical Leftists. A generational rebellion that happened to millions of young people, especially during and after the 1960s. The country, even with Reagan, never fully recovered from that generation, and THEIR children didn’t learn what you and I did. It’s really kind of amazing that there are still so many decent people in the country. But that group is dying off.
Thus, we have had more than one generation raised on Howard Zinn’s communist history of America, taught that our forefathers were racist, sexist, homophobic, colonialists—all of which, to an extent is true, but is the only story our youth hear now—and thus America’s whole foundation is in error and must be decimated and rebuilt. But they are hypocrites, because they are using the very principles and foundations our Founders established to try to destroy those principles and foundations.
Being Marxists, the Democratic Party leadership is globalist, which means anti-nationalism, which means anti-patriotism, which means they want as many foreigners in the country as they can get, any way they can get them here. Of course, they shout that they love America, but what is the America they love? It’s one of their own creation, and has very little in common with the America described by our Founding Fathers in the Declaration of Independence and Constitution. That’s the America they hate.
Next time you talk to a Leftist and he/she tell you they are patriotic Americans, ask them what they mean by “America”. Then quote them the first few sentences of the Declaration of Independence—“all men are created equal, and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights…that to secure these rights [not give them] governments are instituted among men…” See if that is the America they believe in. Quote to them James Madison: “The future and success of America is not in this Constitution, but in the laws of God upon which this Constitution is founded.” This is the America the Left doesn’t want people to know.
They simply believe in a different America. There are two different Americas now, and one of them wants to destroy the old one. And that requires ferociously supporting criminals. And they aren’t going to change.
