De Pasquale’s Dozen with Fox News Host Jesse Watters

The opinions expressed by columnists are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of Townhall.com.
De Pasquale’s Dozen with Fox News Host Jesse Watters
Jesse Watters has the most difficult job in cable news.  How many of us could stand there with patience and bemusement while listening to a millennial look at a photo of Elvis Presley and guess he was a Backstreet Boy?

Watters, however, has been entertaining us and educating others on Watters’ World on Fox News since 2003.  What started as a segment on The O’Reilly Factor is now a series of its own.
This Saturday, April 23 at 8 p.m. EST, a new episode of Watters’ World will interview Ducky Dynasty’s Willie Robertson and Bill O’Reilly.  The show will also feature his popular man-on-the-street interviews on the New York primary results.  He’ll travel to Harvard University and University of Massachusetts Amherst to see how the Ivy League fares against a state university when it comes to being informed on the issues.
Hopefully, he left the chalk at home.
The De Pasquale's Dozen asks political figures and free market-minded writers and entertainers to take a break from politics and talk about their pop culture obsessions.

-To anyone once I get my own plane.
2. Tell me about your favorite teacher and how he or she influenced your life.
Both of my parents were teachers. To this day they still correct my grammar. It drives me crazy
3. If you could be paid to do anything besides your current job, what would it be?
Food critic. For the free food of course. And the power.
4. What canceled show would you put back on the air?

6. What’s the best present you ever received as a child?
Stock
7. What’s the best present you ever gave?
I gave my mom respect for her birthday. I typed the word "respect," printed it out and then framed it. She said it was the best gift I ever gave her.
8. What advice do you remember your mother or father giving you?
"Work hard and go to bed early"
9. What was one of your favorite "On-the-Street" moments?
I punched a pigeon once during a shoot in Washington Square Park. They were attacking me. PETA saw it on The Factor that night and wrote me an angry letter. I was just trying to defend myself though. Those pigeons meant business.
10. What books are on your reading list?
O’Reilly’s next “Killing” book. And whatever David Sedaris comes out with next.
11. What would you like tomorrow's headline to say?

12. Tell me about the moment you decided to enter the political news arena.

I love politics and television. There wasn’t really a “moment.” Fox News is basically the only place that hasn’t fired me. I’m lucky…and grateful to work for men like Roger Ailes and Bill O’Reilly.
