Hats off to Ron DeSantis for showing something that Republicans aren’t used to seeing from their polls: evidence of manhood. Big, swinging evidence. You can be all upset about gerrymandering and call it an immoral affront to our democracy if you want to, but that’s silly. Gerrymandering is a political act, and I expect politicians to act politically in their constituents’ interests. That’s been a big problem with the GOP’s politicians. We have far too many Republicans, like the insipid femboys in Indiana, who don’t act in the interests of their constituents. They act in the interest of their own feminine sensibilities and refuse to do what is necessary to achieve the only thing that matters: win.

Win.

But RDS is setting the example, showing the way, taking point against these communist scumbags. That’s awesome. We need to kudosmaxx this guy. Just as the British, back when they were men, used to shoot sissy admirals to encourage the others, we need to pin a medal on our heroes. And we’ve got heroes. Don’t buy the lie that every Republican is yearning to be the prettiest boy on the cell block. We have warriors, and warriors are going to win this war for us.

And now we need to unite and put away old differences. We need to multiply our combat power, not divide it, because somebody who’s bringing the heat today offended you yesterday. There are people who have a problem with Ron DeSantis because he ran against Donald Trump in the last primary. They shouldn’t. The fact is that the challenge to Donald Trump made the President stronger in the general election, but the whole idea of iron sharpening iron isn’t the whole thing. We need to encourage audacity, and it was pretty audacious to take on Donald Trump. You’re likely to get your butt kicked, as RDS did, but he took a swing. You’ve got to play to win, and to win, you’ve got to play. That’s what DeSantis did in 2024. He played. He lost. But at least he showed up. And he keeps showing up. That’s more than we can say about too many of these Republicans. The trumpet sounds, and too many are AWOL — SAVE Act, anyone?

Now, DeSantis the Avenger has reappeared in Florida. He’s gerrymandering the hell out of the state. Good. After what happened in Virginia, it’s a pity he can’t safely do it harder. No mercy. No quarter. No Democrats. He’s taking it right up to the edge, with four more red seats inbound. Remember, we don’t want a dummymander. We want more districts, but only districts we are going to win. After all, that’s the one thing we must do.

Win.

Yeah, DeSantis has some problems with the Florida Constitution for doing this. You’re not supposed to gerrymander to get a partisan advantage. That’s why he never goes out and says he’s gerrymandering for political gain. He’s got self-control, which only makes him deadlier. Of course he is gerrymandering for political gain and bless him for it. We need more GOP pols who are clear-eyed killers, and fewer who are doe-eyed submissives.

I guess I could go on about how the Democrats started this, which they did. They started off doing it — look at Massachusetts and Illinois. They redistricted New York mid-decade to take out a bunch of our seats, then we did Texas and some other states, and they did Virginia and took it a little too far, politically at least. Virginia was a lot tighter in the redistricting election than it was during other recent elections. They ticked people off. That’s something. They’re also going to further destroy any faith in the courts when the VA Supreme Court upholds a referendum that transparently violates the law. And it's all for nothing because, thanks to DeSantis, they’re going to have what they stole taken away from them. One stud can change everything.

Except the GOP doesn’t just have one stud. We’ve got a bunch of them. Yeah, we spend a lot of time complaining about the Thom Tillises and the John Cornyns and the rest of the fey Fredocons — as we should, because they are annoying and they suck — but we need to be objective when we’re looking at our own situation and not just when we’re looking at the enemy situation. And the fact is, we’ve got a bunch of guys with brass bangers so big they’ve got to be carted around in wheelbarrows.

Of course, Donald Trump is A-Number One. I mean, this guy is incredible. We’re used to it after 11 years since he came down the escalator but think about it. He just doesn’t care. He’s what honey badgers think of when they think of something that doesn't give a Schiff. Trump so doesn’t give any that they’ve tried to kill him three times. They shot him, and he laughed at them.

How about JD Vance? He grew up in a family so dysfunctional that he got a best-selling book out of it. Then he became a Marine. Then he went to Iraq. Then he married a lawyer. That’s hardcore. And you’ve seen him at work. Nothing fazes this guy.

And Marco Rubio is just killing it. This is a guy we wrote off about 12 years ago when he had his ill-advised dalliance with amnesty. Then he went up against Trump in 2016 and got slapped around. He could’ve gotten bitter and become one of those Never Trump sissies. He could’ve gone and taken some gig with a corporation. Instead, he’s in the fight. And he’s doing a great job.

We’ve got other warriors, too. What about Scott Bessent and Pete Hegseth? Todd Blanche and Harmeet Dhillon? There are Jim Banks, Mike Lee, Ted Cruz, and Eric Schmitt, and that’s just in the Senate. Heck, Susan Collins has shown more manhood than most just by being a Republican in Maine and going head-to-head against that Nazi tatt guy.

What’s the message here? That if we fight, we win. And we do have fighters. Don’t listen to the black-pilled weasels who try to up their own stock by running down the party. Oh, kick the party in the gonads when it needs it — no question. That’s honorable and important. But constant dooming is selfish and weak. It’s also objectively ridiculous. We’ve got fighters. We’ve got warriors. They’re here. They’re ready. And they know what they have to do.

Win.
