Keith Self, born into a military family and raised in Texas, graduated from West Point and served 25 years in the U.S. Army, rising to lieutenant colonel in Special Forces and Rangers. He deployed to Grenada, Bosnia, Afghanistan, and Iraq, earning the Ranger Tab, Special Forces Tab, and Master Parachutist Badge.
After retiring from the military, he was elected Collin County Judge (2007–2018), serving three terms. He is now the U.S. Representative for Texas’ Third Congressional District.
