For years, Americans have been told by pro-amnesty lawmakers, both Democrats and Republicans, that illegal aliens “commit crimes at a lower rate than native born Americans.” This claim has long ignored the fact that entering the United States illegally is, in fact, a crime, but compared to murder and rape, it does seem pretty minor.
Thanks to President Donald Trump's Operation Take Back America, an effort to deport illegal aliens wreaking havoc inside American communities all across the country, we’re finally seeing the underbelly of the criminal alien crime economy. It is ugly.
“Since January, the Department of Homeland Security has arrested over 480,000 criminal illegal aliens. 70% of those individuals have criminal charges against them or have been convicted of those criminal charges," Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced in October. "Across the country, we're making communities safer so that families can thrive and they can prosper and they can enjoy the kind of freedom that this country was established to provide.”
That number is stark and only scratches the surface - especially given the Biden administration let more than 20 million unvetted illegal aliens into the U.S. from 2021-2024.
For years, Mexican and Venezuelan cartels have been running the streets of New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and elsewhere. With the convictions of El Chapo in New York and his son in Chicago, this has been obvious - and yet is one of the most undercovered issues of our time.

“Joaquin Archivaldo Guzman Loera, known by various aliases, including ‘El Chapo’ and ‘El Rapido,’ was sentenced today by United States District Judge Brian M. Cogan to life imprisonment plus 30 years to run consecutive to the life sentence for being a principal leader of a continuing criminal enterprise – the Mexican organized crime syndicate known as the Sinaloa Cartel – a charge that includes 26 drug-related violations and one murder conspiracy. The Court also ordered Guzman Loera to pay $12.6 billion in forfeiture,” the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York released in 2019. “Guzman Loera was convicted by a federal jury on February 12, 2019, following a three-month trial, of all 10 counts of the superseding indictment, including narcotics trafficking, using a firearm in furtherance of his drug crimes and participating in a money laundering conspiracy.”
But drug kingpins aren’t the only ones running the show. They have operators and street animals carrying out their dirty work and keeping things moving - many of them taking the lives of young American women along the way.
"A Venezuelan man who entered the United States illegally and who admitted to possessing a fraudulent Green Card during the murder investigation of a 22-year-old nursing student was sentenced to serve 48 months in prison—above the federal sentencing guideline range—and to be deported along with his brother and a former roommate. Diego Jose Ibarra, aka 'Gocho,' 29, was sentenced to serve a total of 48 months in prison after he pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of a fraudulent document on July 15, 2024," DOJ details. "According to court documents and statements referenced in court, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) was made aware of Deigo Ibarra’s undocumented presence in the United States on Feb. 23, 2024, during the murder investigation of Laken Hope Riley, who was kidnapped and brutally murdered on Feb. 22, 2024, during a morning run at the University of Georgia, where she previously attended as an undergraduate prior to transferring to the Augusta University College of Nursing. At the time, an Athens-Clarke County Police Department (ACCPD) officer approached Diego Ibarra because he matched the description of the primary suspect in the murder investigation, which was his brother, Jose Antonio Ibarra. Diego Ibarra gave the ACCPD officer a counterfeit U.S. Permanent Resident Card (also called a Green Card) as identification and was taken into custody. Jose Ibarra was convicted of Laken Riley’s murder on Nov. 20, 2024, in Athens-Clarke County Superior Court and is serving a life sentence."
Illegal workers on job sites have been trafficking drugs, in addition to women and children for sex. Child labor laws are regularly broken, which was highlighted during the ICE raid on a California marijuana plant over the summer.
“On July 10, 2025, federal law enforcement officers executed criminal warrant operations at marijuana grow sites in Carpinteria and Camarillo. As of July 13, at least 14 migrant children have been rescued from potential exploitation, forced labor, and human trafficking. Federal officers also arrested at least 361 illegal aliens from both sites in Carpinteria and Camarillo,” DHS reported at the time. “ICE and CBP arrested violent and dangerous criminal illegal aliens during the operation who were working at the marijuana site.”
Even the New York Times harshly detailed horrific conditions and violations of child labor laws at major companies.
"A Guatemalan eighth grader was killed on the cleaning shift at a Mar-Jac plant in Mississippi in July; a federal investigation had found migrant children working illegally at the company a few years earlier. A 14-year-old was hospitalized in Alabama after being overworked at a chicken operation there. A 17-year-old in Ohio had his leg torn off at the knee while cleaning a Case Farms plant. Another child lost a hand in a meat grinder at a Michigan operation,” the paper found.
For years, we've been told illegal immigration has essentially nothing to do with crime, when in fact, it’s actually the undercurrent to most of the violence happening in American cities - especially among organized criminals. Thanks to the Trump administration, with protests from Democrats, it's being confronted.
