Deconstructing Jeffrey Epstein and Company

Ever since the Department of Justice issued its summation of matters concerning the late Jeffrey Epstein, a firestorm of controversy has erupted. Kash Patel and Dan Bongino are livid about Pat Bondi’s directives. Beyond these insiders, the majority of people who write or talk about the activities of Jeffrey Epstein have no insider knowledge, and I am among them.

What is known, and what can be discerned, more than justifies continued investigation.

The Ring of Falsehood

Americans are suspicious of assertions that lack the ring of truth. With Epstein, not much disseminated from the DoJ is convincing. This is unfortunate; many on the right otherwise admire Pam Bondi, Kash Patel, and Dan Bongino. If they do not illuminate the entire Epstein case, it will hang over them like a rain cloud that never passes.

Steve Bannon maintains that President Trump must release everything related to Epstein, otherwise the mistrust will not subside and potentially threaten the GOP in the 2026 midterms. Bannon is right, and we can only hope that President Trump is listening.

Tucker Carlson thinks that Pam Bondi is concealing the Epstein client list because “Intel services are at the very center of this story, U.S. and Israeli, and they’re being protected.” A variety of political pundits on the Left and the Right share Carlson’s view.

Who Needs the DoJ?

Without the DoJ probing further, Congress has enough documentation and witnesses to conduct a thorough investigation. Professor Alan Dershowitz, falsely accused of being among the pedophiles on Epstein’s island, was able to clear himself following the Epstein document dump in 2020. Dershowitz is bound by a court order to not reveal what he has seen. He says that he knows who is on the Epstein client list, which he has confirmed does exist. Under oath, before Congress, there is still much that Dershowitz could reveal.

Former president Bill Clinton would make a juicy witness. He is still smarting from the lies he told concerning Monica Lewinsky in the late 1990s. In testifying before Congress, it is unlikely that he would dare to perjure himself.

Former model Lisa Phillips has vivid recall of her experiences of abuse on Epstein’s private island. “My life spiraled,” she lamented late in 2024. As often happens in cases involving sexual abuse, as a few brave souls boldly speak up, others come forward. Soon, numerous witnesses emerge. This happened in the case against Bill Cosby and, to a lesser degree, in the case against Sean Diddy Combs.

Phillips has openly discussed her connection to Jeffrey Epstein, “including being sexually abused by him on his private island,” over an extended period of time. Her credibility is strong. If she were to testify, other abuse victims are likely to come forward. In combination, the personal encounters that they could share would open the floodgates to even more revelations.

The visitor flight logs to Epstein's island have long been exposed. From them, we know that Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, and others have entered into the log. Any pilots, flight crew members, facilities managers, ground crew, etc., who could still be summoned might have compelling testimony to offer. They could share insights that few others possess.

The Lady Who Knows All

And what of ex-socialite Ghislaine Noelle Marion Maxwell? She was convicted and is serving time as a sex offender, guilty of child sex trafficking. She is a rare bird: perhaps the first person ever convicted of trafficking children to no one! “No one,” as in no names of child predators were revealed as a result of her trial.

Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison, five years of supervised release, and a $750,000 fine – not a light sentence. During her trial, remarkably, no names emerged of people who had visited the island. Yet, she likely knew of virtually everyone who attended.

What could Congress eke out of her? It would be quite a captivating testimony.

Now is the Time

Considering the parties cited above and more to come, the potential is ripe for Congress to delve deeply into the sordid activities of Jeffrey Epstein, independent of the DoJ. It is time to get the ball rolling and air the whole truth once and for all. The American people deserve it, and the victims of Jeffrey Epstein deserve it.

We must proceed on this issue until complete clarity is achieved; nothing less.
