If there was one boogeyman of the Democrat Party’s primary season it was those damn “Joooos!” While even (most of) the Democratic Socialists of America candidates were smart enough not to come right out and say it, they all used the agreed upon code words to discuss their rabid anti-Semitism. That code word? “AIPAC” - The American-Israel Public Affairs Committee. Weirdly, however, as the most left-wing primaries are ending now, the demonization of AIPAC has begun to quiet.
Abdul El-Sayed is the most obvious example of this. He averaged fundraising emails prior to the Michigan primary mentioned AIPAC 5 times, and they were often premised on the idea that was “fighting against AIPAC and their money.”
Now, curiously, he barely mentions them.
While it’s unscientific, I don’t recall receiving an email from Abdul for Senate that didn’t mention AIPAC. I’ve deleted a ton of emails, so I can’t say for certain, I remember seeing them, writing about them, and reading them to see if I could find one from time to time and coming up empty. El Sayed barely mentioned anything specifically related to Michigan in his rare mentions of policy positions, just those damn Jews.
Since I grew up in Michigan, that struck me as an odd strategy, considering most voters, I’d assumed, would not be all that interested in what was happening on the other side of the planet compared to what is happening in their own wallets.
But Abdul hates Jews, and he was also running in a Democrat primary, not the general election. And if there’s one throughline in all the left-wing anti-American communists running under the DNC’s flag it is their hatred of Jews.
They pretend to care about Palestinians to appeal to anti-Semites. They pretend there is a genocide happening. They pretend Hamas is not a terrorist organization. They pretend to care more about what is happening in Gaza than what is happening anywhere in the United States. They don’t care, but they pretend to.
It strikes normal people as odd that so many Congressional races in the primary were about what another country was doing in response to savages murdering 1,200 of their citizens, but Democrat primary voters are no longer normal people.
They used to be. It wasn’t that long ago that Democrats called themselves the “champions of the middle class.” Now, they’re a bunch of cosplaying poverty tourist rich kids with Oedipal complexes and penis envy…and that’ just the women.
They spend their days thinking up new words that can be used as pronouns, smoking weed and engaging in self-mutilation. They have Luigi Mangione tattoos and are rooting for Lindsay Clancy to get off because, well, it does the same for them, in a different way.
These are the people you avoid, not follow. They hate Jews, you and themselves. They’re a death cult for the country. I have no concern for a group of leftists want to “shock the world” by drinking their homebrew Jonestown Kool-Aid, that would certainly get attention, but they want to force everyone else to drink it with them. That’s where the problem comes in.
Abdul and the gang aren’t talking about AIPAC as much anymore, and really only are in fundraising emails to the faithful, not on the campaign trail. It’s an admission that the Democrat Party is THE party of anti-Semitism, that hatred of Israel plays on the left, and Democrats – even the crazier, ultra-leftist ones – know the majority of the country does not share their venom.
The anti-Semitism didn’t go away, just like their anti-Americanism didn’t. They’re just not talking about it because they’re trying to appeal to the middle. It is acknowledgement the Democrat Party is the home of hatred, or else why stop talking about it? The “genocide” they pretended to care about is going on now just as much as it was happening, then (which is not at all), so why stop drawing attention to it?
Because it was only ever as real as their respect for the Constitution and the Tooth Fairy are.
AIPAC was a convenient device through which to raise money and win votes from people with hatred simmering just below the surface, but that is not the majority of Americans, only Democrats. Never forget what those people did in their primaries, and never forget who those people are who nominated these monsters. And never doubt what they’d all do to any of us if they were ever in a position of power again.
