It truly is something to behold, the way President Donald Trump plays these Democrats like a cat swats around a mouse. The only difference in that dynamic is that the mouse can’t help itself; it doesn’t know it’s being played. Democrats…well, maybe they are only as smart as a mouse. It’s tough to know. The only things that can be known are just how pathetic Democrats are, and Donald Trump lives rent-free in their head, their dreams and in every breath they take.
I expect pathetic Democrat activists to be able to control themselves about as well as a starved Pavlovian dog in a bell factory; they aren’t very bright and have spent their lives buying into the BS the leftist corporate media and their masters in the Democrat Party have been selling.
They’re a step above a junkie arguing with a mailbox, which might explain why they took the overdose death of George Floyd more personally than the deaths of someone they actually knew and cared about, as it reminded them of themselves. Who knows?
But the elected officials and people paid six and seven figures in politics and media are just as bad, even if many are faking it.
It does have to be scary to be a Democrat who isn’t into child genital mutilation and illegal alien snuff films – if you have any semblance of sanity in you, and it is discovered by your fellow party members, they will turn on you like a traitor. It’s a lot like what I hear it is like to be a Republican working in Hollywood – the constant fear that someone will see you not applauding enthusiastically enough as the drag queen grinds their crotch on a pre-pubescent boy and ruin your career has to be horrible.
Then again, Democrats deserve all the horrible things if they have more substance in the back of their underpants in the form of last night’s dinner out of fear, than in the front in the form of metaphorical testicles, that’s what you get when you don’t stand up to evil and crazy.
Watching the State of the Union and the clown shows around it – how many “alternative” events does one group of people need? – You see a party that is floundering and terrified of its own voters.
Joy Reid held the “People’s State of the Union” on the mall, which was about as popular as you’d expect a racist’s event to be.
If you want to know how unpopular a left-wing event truly is, all you have to do is notice how few images of the crowd there are. I had a hard time finding shots of the “crowd” at Joy’s joke, and the ones I did were very small and so white I wondered if there’d been a very, very localized snowstorm I’d missed. Nope, just AWFULs with no families who like them waiting to die alone.
At what appeared to be the National Press Club, the State of the Swamp featured adults dressed as lizards are a giraffe, as well as Robert De Niro, fresh off crying about “division” in the country. I never thought Bobby was all that bright – he’s good at delivering someone else’s words, less good at stringing together his own – but I always figured he’d understand basic definitions like “division.” Guess I was wrong.
Then were what the “Progressive Response to the State of the Union.” Started a few years ago by Bernie Sanders, I-VT, this unnecessary event is the genital warts of American politics.
I’m kidding, everything Democrats do is the genital warts of politics. It’s just who they are.
I’ve never seen anyone in politics seemingly live to alienate the majority of voters before. They’re lucky in that most people who decide elections don’t pay attention to the news until it’s go-time in November, then mostly vote on how they feel at the moment, which is scary in and of itself.
Still, that State of the Union clown show should resonate with people for a long time to come. Elon Musk (who seems to be the only person on the right more interested in messaging to voters than getting rich – God, there are a lot of grifters on the right) should use all the footage from these competing events to cut an endless string of 30 second ads that run continuously between now and the election so people can’t help but see what Democrats are. That might be the only thing that scares them more than their base. As it should.
