Every politician is fair game when it comes to criticism, and every single one of them deserves it. But if your attacks are empty or lies, it says more about you and the quality of your character than it says about the target of your scorn. Such is the case with the left-wing industrial complexes' attacks on President Donald Trump.
Most attacks on Trump are amazing in that they are completely devoid of substance. That, in itself, is a form of accomplishment, as speaking constantly without really saying anything or offering up anything to back up your claims is a sort of skill most people do not have, yet leftist cable news in pretty much just that.
“Trump is the most corrupt President in history,” you’ll hear a Democrat say. “He’s making himself and his buddies rich at the expense of the American people,” someone else will scream. Then there is the non-stop crying about “threats to democracy!!!” What you never hear is the one follow-up question that would stump all of them – a simple “How?”
That would stop them in their tracks, as they literally have nothing.
It’s gotten so bad in the Trump attacks that Democrats are now actively taking the side of drug cartels over the American people because the Trump administration is finally doing more than just paying lip service to the idea of fighting a war on drugs. “Just say ‘no’!” is now “We’re going to blow you to hell.” That’s quite the change.
Democrats are running out of lies to tell, so they’re turning to little, stupid things. Honestly, these are burn book level stupidity, something high school students would not participate in out of fear of being seen as too immature.
The Daily Beast ran a piece entitled, “Trump’s Now Been Covering His Hand With a Bandage for a Full Week.” Naturally, The Drudge Report picked it up, asking, “Why hasn’t his hand healed?”
The story was about the band-aid on his right hand. Maybe he had blood drawn or a cut, and, since he shakes a lot of hands every day, he thought it would be a good idea to keep it covered? Maybe he had a bruise from the blood draw? Whatever it is, who cares? What could it be? Nothing.
The four pictures in the story were all from the same day – December 9th – so they couldn’t even get a picture from any other point in this alleged week with his bandaged hand? Not one?
On the 10th, I watched the President field press questions and couldn’t help but notice the lack of a bandage or any marks on his hand, obliterating the story. But it doesn’t matter, it was never about reality, it was about establishing a perception – that the President is old and sick.
That’s the point of another story “Drudge” linked to – “White House in state of panic as Trump keeps falling asleep - He gets angry." It was from a liberal blog out of the UK, which tells you everything you need to know about the validity of the story – if a left-wing media site in the US won’t touch it…
The point of it was “Trump is old and worn out.” The source of this information was the Kitty Kelley of political books, Michael Wolff. It’s a claim so absurd that most of the left-wing media won’t touch it, and these are people who still hold on to the Russia hoax. That’s how bad it is.
The “proof” is rumors Wolff is hearing and the idea that Trump “fell asleep” in two meetings. They don’t actually make the case; there’s no need to – an allegation against Trump is all that is needed, the imagination will fill in the blanks.
The idea of Democrats “hitting new lows” is a funny one, because it implies they have “highs,” and they clearly do not. But when you have to break out a shovel to make it under the bar you’re setting, you might want to recognize that you’re on the wrong track. Then again, that’s all Democrats have. When the truth does you no favors, embrace the lies.
