Despite plummeting approval ratings, the Biden administration is continuing its war against America’s borders and sovereignty. That war reached a fever pitch recently as videos surfaced across the internet of illegal aliens being released by government authorities into the U.S.
Video broadcast by Fox News late last month showed large numbers of illegal aliens being released into the U.S. Most of those released in the video were single, adult males who told the reporter that they were headed to various destinations across the U.S., including Miami, Houston, and Atlanta.
“Fox witnessed men go into a small, unmarked office, then re-emerge moments later as multiple taxi cabs then showed up to collect the migrants -- who were then shuttled off to nearby Harlingen Airport. There were no children or migrant families among the groups,” the report stated.
A source from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) later told Fox that some of the illegal aliens being released have criminal records, including past arrests for crimes including assault, DUI, and drug possession among others.
“Imagine going to the office to make phone calls all day to coordinate travel for someone who just came in illegally, some of them with criminal records,” the ICE official reportedly said.
The Biden administration’s anti-borders radicalism has demoralized the men and women in border patrol, and frustrations amongst the agents boiled over during a recent meeting with Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Several agents confronted Mayorkas at the meeting, which was later leaked to the press. Mayorkas tried to deflect and reassure the agents that he supports them, and has their back, but the agents should know better than anyone how empty Mayorkas’ words have become.
Border Patrol agents already know that Mayorkas will not defend them against extremist special interest groups that will try to paint their enforcement actions in the most negative light possible. When several mounted agents were falsely accused of whipping Haitian migrants last year, Mayorkas did not defend them, despite photo evidence and first-hand testimony that there had been no wrongdoing. Instead, Mayorkas joined in on the attack, and used the smear as an excuse to further erode enforcement options. He handed a win to anti-borders activists, while inviting future unjust attacks against the agents as well. When forced to choose between appeasing activists or defending his agents, Mayorkas can be counted on to betray those working under him.
Mayorkas is also an anti-borders ideologue, and a staunch opponent of American sovereignty. He has been clear about his desire to open up America’s border and prevent law enforcement agents from enforcing the law. Just a few weeks ago, the secretary bragged about his refusal to enforce the law, saying that “unlawful presence in the United States will alone not be a basis for an immigration enforcement action." Mayorkas has also said that he believes his role is to promote abstract concepts such as “justice” and “equity,” instead of enforcing the law.
Mayorkas has made clear that illegal aliens who enter the country will be able to stay. In fact, the Biden administration has so watered down when, where, and for what illegal aliens can be detained for that even a twice-deported illegal alien who desecrated the nation’s capital with Nazi graffiti will not be removed from the country under this administration’s policies.
Geraldo Pando, a 34-year-old Mexican citizen with a lengthy criminal record, was arrested earlier this month for allegedly vandalizing Union Station in Washington D.C.. In a country run by sane leaders, Pando would be immediately prosecuted and subsequently deported. But, in Joe Biden’s America, Pando and those of his ilk will likely be permitted to stay in the country so they can commit crimes against the American people.
It flies in the face of common sense to invite criminals like Pando into our country, but that’s exactly what the Biden administration is doing. As the videos of illegal aliens being resettled into the U.S. proves, they are doing it on purpose. The Biden border crisis has never been an accident, but a crisis intentionally caused by the government at the behest of interest groups and ideologues. There may not be a bigger betrayal of the people in presidential history.
