One wonders why Democrats and radical Leftists hate our country so much.
Under Joe Biden and Alejandro Mayorkas, millions of illegal aliens were enticed and permitted to enter our country. Once here, millions were released into the country without vetting and without authorities keeping track of them. And, as it turns out, many of them, perhaps more than one million of them, have criminal records, are accused of crimes (other than the crime of illegally entering the country), are gang members, or are affiliated with foreign terrorist organizations.
President Trump has effectively secured our border, as he promised. Last month, according to Department of Homeland Security, there were no releases into the country. With their desire to flood the nation with illegal aliens, Biden and Mayorkas would have thought that was a disappointment.
With the border largely secure, President Trump is attempting to carry out another key component of his campaign pledge to secure the border by finding illegal aliens and sending them back to their homes. But an interesting thing has happened. Democrats, Leftists, and sanctuary mayors and governors are attempting to block enforcement of the law.
And mind you, this isn’t just some “peaceful protests.” What is happening is a violent attack on the rule of law in an attempt to overthrow the law. Yes, you might call it an insurrection.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers have been attacked relentlessly since President Trump was sworn into office. There has been an increase in attacks on ICE officers by more than 500%.
Think about that. Democrats, Leftists, big city mayors, and blue state governors are supporting attacks on federal officials who are charged with enforcing the law. Why, do you suppose, do these anti-American officials condone and, in some cases, encourage attacks on ICE agents?
Well, these are the same people who championed open borders, promised sanctuary from law enforcement, and provided other inducements and incentives to enter the United States illegally. They must have a reason.
Is it too cynical to believe that this cadre of Leftists simply wishes to overthrow our government and radically change our culture as we have seen in Europe?
The latest maneuver from the pro-illegal crowd is to find a single ICE vehicle in an area where an arrest of an illegal alien has occurred. The mobsters then disable the vehicle, surround it, and attempt to intimidate the ICE agent with violent and menacing attacks on the ICE vehicle.
Local law enforcement has been ordered to stand down by the mayors. ICE agents have had to disburse the crowd with nonlethal means including tear gas.
This is becoming more prevalent.
The attacks are also becoming more violent as criminal illegal aliens have become emboldened by rhetoric from the Left and by attacks on ICE. Recently, a female agent was running after a fleeing criminal who hid around the corner of a building. When the agent rounded the corner, she was ambushed by the illegal alien who ripped off her protective gear and attempted to choke her.
Thank goodness that her back up arrived in time to prevent her murder at the hands of this violent, criminal illegal alien.
Leftist haters say it isn’t fair for ICE agents to wear masks when arresting criminal illegal aliens, while they—the Leftist haters—are posting pictures of ICE agents, doxing them and their families, putting the agents and their loved ones in grave peril.
Thus, since March, ICE agents have been wearing masks because of the dirtbags who are trying to prevent and interfere with the enforcement of the law.
The fact is that the Left indicates pretty clearly that it hates America and wants to change the nation by first allowing more than 10 million illegals into the country, regardless of their background, then preventing law enforcement from enforcing the law.
The radicals ignored the law to let them in and now are obstructing the enforcement of the law to prevent their removal. The legacy of Biden and Mayorkas will be a legacy of an attempt to destroy America by destroying the rule of law.
I call upon the Department of Justice and the Attorney General to prosecute those who are participating in the anti-ICE, anti-American riots, and those who are attempting to obstruct justice or bring harm to ICE agents and their families.
