First Amendment Strike Force – CNN
Does he grasp that they only want free expression for one side?
Brian Stelter offered up some of his trademark shaded positions when touting a message from the group Free Press, which claims it has catalogued 200 instances of President Trump restricting free speech.
Her list is part of a new report, out Monday, about President Trump and his administration's "war on free speech." The title of the report: "Chokehold." https://t.co/nJqCsEJo6f

In response, FCC Chairman Brendan Carr weighed in with screenshots to illustrate just how non-partisan Brian's little outfit he highlighted can be. Turns out it previously wanted the FCC to leverage restrictions on outlets that dared to run Donald Trump press conferences during the pandemic.
Oh, there is also that small matter that it once lobbied to "shoot Republicans," but maybe that was not considered a First Amendment issue.

Artisanally-Crafted Narratives – NEW YORK POST
If this leads to a crackdown on the show being broadcast, then maybe this has validity.
Any time there is a severe act of violence in this country, a thorough background of the perpetrator is frequently seen as a follow-up. (Unless, of course, they come from a protected group, such as the trans community, in which case there is an information lockdown.) Oftentimes, there are completely unrelated and random instances brought out, as if they mean something. If someone were a vegan, for example, how would that factor into their shooting up a mall?
Case in point: The Post reports that the recently arrested J6 bomber is a "Brony."
As idiotic as reporting on this detail may seem, maybe this completely useless detail will underscore the ridiculous nature of these reports and help curtail their release.

Reporting on the Mirror – VANITY FAIR
A result we could have told you about when she was hired.
The history of reporters consorting with contacts and political figures is legion. And one of the things that made the past couple of months of melodrama surrounding the soap opera of journalist Olivia Nuzzi all the more hilarious was her past decrying Hollywood portraying the very things she was engaged in. Nuzzi once commented on the trope of portraying female journalists sleeping with the figures they are covering, as it has since been shown that this was something she has partaken in numerous times.
We wrote of this and pondered why it is that journalists with this vacancy of ethics frequently ascend the career ladder, but now, Nuzzi – after securing a book deal and being given a new title of West Coast Editor of Vanity Fair – is once again cut loose, as their arrangement comes to an end at the end of the month.
Gotta give it up to Vanity Fair for dumping their awards and culture team so they could pay Olivia Nuzzi more money to do, apparently, jack shit! Incredible sense of what your readership wants! https://t.co/y3501l4d9H

Anti-Social Media – VARIETY
Did nobody ponder whether this was the wisest of concepts to put out there?!
At the entertainment outlet, they spoke with actress Amy Madigan about the way her recent portrayal of the character Aunt Gladys in the hit film "Weapons" has been embraced by the LGBTπ community.
We have to wonder how this is positively emblematic, given her character is a Satanic witch kidnapping children, but if they identify with such a figure, who are we to judge…out loud?

Democratic Custodial Services – CNN
Now, why would we expect him to drill into the biggest headline at the moment?
Over at the news net, Jake Tapper continued their current practice of bringing on Democrats to perform rehab assignments. For the latest, Ilhan Omar was on to discuss the current welfare scandal in her district, with billions of dollars found to have been bilked from taxpayers.
Tapper dutifully avoided asking her questions about her direct connections to the figures involved, but he did coax her to explain how it was unfortunate and possibly racist to have all of the attention directed at her district.
