Dos Equis-pert Opinion – POLITICO
If it is working so wonderfully, how is this possible?!
Okay now, they have gone ahead and done it: the press relies on this tactic so often that they have required us to create a new category. We now will have to tabulate the times journalists weave a narrative by finding “experts” who will back up their slant on a particular news item.
The trick here, if it is not already known, is for a reporter to go “expert shopping,” and find a couple of self-described authorities on a topic. They may contact any number of these elevated thinkers, but so long as they find a pair who agree with the premise that is sufficient for the use of “experts say,” and then their claims are ironclad.
For the latest, we have criticism of the Affordable Care Act expenses exploding — in complete defiance of its name and the claims made about it. Since this failed-from-the-start policy bears Barack Obama’s name, the need is to spin this as something President Trump has caused.

Enter “the policy experts” that Kelly Hooper and Robert King tracked down, as they dutifully lay the blame in the lap of our current president, and NOT the one who created the fiasco.

Presentation Paradox – KPIX NEWS, SAN FRANCISCO
How does anyone in the press still use this disqualifying phrase?!
In coverage of Monday’s TPUSA conference at Berkeley, this local affiliate lapsed into tired defenses of leftist violence. Outside the event, organized protesters gathered, and then skirmishes and fighting broke out. In its digital coverage, the station noted that riots broke out, but in its copy, and in the video from a field reporter, it delivered the tired deflection that has become a punchline.
Yes, they claimed the protesters were “mostly peaceful.” Unreal.
🚨 WTF?! Legacy media is calling the vioIent riots outside TPUSA’s UC Berkeley event last night “mostly peaceful”

Low-Octane Gaslighting – THE DAILY MAIL
This is SOOOO scandalous that it was not an issue when it was initially discovered years back.
You might have noticed a level of hysteria in the press today as many journos have excitedly been touting that a “bombshell” discovery was made in the Epstein Files. An email has been trotted out by the Democrats on the House Oversight Committee, where Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell wrote to each other about Donald Trump spending time with one of the alleged victims.
The email itself does not implicate Trump in any fashion, and the curious aspect is that the name of the female involved was redacted. However, this email had been previously known, as it originated from the Epstein estate, and when it was turned over to the committee, the name was not removed.
This makes for convenient, and slanderous, reporting, as the female referenced in the discussion is Virginia Giuffre, who has long stated that she never saw Donald Trump engage in any of the criminal activity associated with Epstein. But take the word of the hyperventilating press: This is scandalous stuff…even as they cannot describe what “stuff” this email supposedly proves.
Even in its desperation to hype this non-troversy, the Daily Mail had to admit there is not much to it:
“Epstein wrote to Trump discussing a victim, whom the Democrats redacted from their release. But the Daily Mail has obtained the unredacted email which reveals he was referring to Virginia Giuffre – who stated in her memoir that Trump never did anything wrong.”

Artisanally-Crafted Narratives – THE NEW YORK TIMES
So, you say it is unacceptable to be political in this honoring address – as YOU politicize the honoring address?
At The New York Times, they seemed particularly bothered that Donald Trump had engaged in some political talk in the address he gave honoring Veterans Day. We were told that it was somewhat crude the way he “mixed traditional solemnity with political arguments.” Yet, to do so, reporter Zolan Kanno Youngs had to engage in the very behavior he was critical of in his piece.
The Times went political to criticize the president, showing displeasure that he invoked the end of the government shutdown and criticized the Democrats for the closures. But then they conveniently left out that he did so as a preamble to explain how his administration has been putting veterans forward as a priority, as he listed off several policies that have benefitted those who have served our country.
The President listed these moves:
— Brad Slager: CNN+ Lifetime Subscriber (@MartiniShark) November 12, 2025
- Vet unemployment dropped -26%
- Over 3 million VA backlog claims processed, a RECORD
- Over 1 million extra VA service hours
- Opened 20 new VA facilities in 13 states
- Allowing veterans to get the doctor they want if the VA is backed up

News Avoidance Syndrome – VARIOUS OUTLETS
It was wrong to do so, even when the results show it was right.
For much of the past few months, there has been perpetual coverage of the Trump administration making ICE detainment actions in Chicago, as well as saying they might send in National Guard troops to quell the crime problem. Governor Pritzker and Mayor Johnson have received endless airtime on news outlets, decrying Trump’s plans and saying they are not needed.
Yet, as the hard data emerges, suddenly the press has turned a blind eye to the results.
Now it is seen that after DHS committed to its detainment efforts in Chicago – dubbed Operation Midway Blitz – severe crimes have been falling steadily. For this, the outmoded media complex can find no curiosity.
BREAKING: Chicago crime rates have dropped to their lowest levels in four years following the Trump administration’s recent surge of federal resources to the city.
