DNC PR Firm – MSNBC

  •  The sexism only affects one party, we assume?

On “Morning Joe,” the round table was having a crisis of sorts regarding the chances of some of the Democratic candidates, specifically the ladies. Look on as they express deep concern over this in light of Japan electing its first female prime minister. They go on to mention the challenges Abigail Spanberger faces in Virginia, which takes this pathetic argument even lower, given the fact that on the GOP ticket she is running against Winsome Earl-Sears – who is a female.

Both Kinds of Standards – CNN

  • Apparently, the only reasonable conservatives are the ones approved to appear on the network.

There is big news from Japan where the nation elected a female as its prime minister for the first time. We get delivered the now expected reframing of things, based entirely on the political positioning of individuals.

Whenever a woman becomes the first to reach an office or a milestone, the journalists stumble over themselves to highlight the “historical” nature of the event. That is, so long as the woman in question is from an approved political class. If it is a female who is conservative – such as Winsome Earl-Sears, the first-ever black female lieutenant governor in Virginia – then things become recalibrated and the historic nature needs to be tamped down.

In the case of Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, she has to be labeled as “a hardline conservative” to deemphasize her significance. Try for a moment the last time you have seen a Democrat or liberal described as “hardline” or other common terms used for conservatives, such as “extreme,” “right-wing,” “ultra-,” etc.

Anti-Social Media – MSNBC

  • Regarding all conservative women as hostages.

It has been well documented how the Democrats struggle to appeal to male voters, but much like the contempt listed above, there is also a tendency to repel women, as there is a certain hostility that is harbored toward females who are not devout leftists.

Jen Psaki exhibits this nature during an “I’ve Had It” podcast appearance, where she is discussing the prospects of JD Vance as the next president. In making it sound outlandish that he could have ambitions for the higher office (ahem, Jennifer, are you familiar with Kamala?), she tries to insist he is scarier than Donald Trump.

But in so doing, she also has to insult Vance’s wife, Usha, with the implication that she is somehow trapped in a nightmarish scenario from which she cannot extricate herself:

“I always wonder what’s going on in the mind of his wife. Like, are you okay? Please blink four times - come over here, we’ll save you."

This is the usual reductive language used about conservative women. Usha Vance is a career lawyer who has clerked in the Supreme Court and has a Master's Degree from Cambridge, but Psaki tries to paint her as a walking victim who cannot think for herself.

These harpies so desperately want their “Handmaid’s Tale” nightmare fantasies to be true, that wives only vote as their husbands command and are powerless to act on their own behalf.

Pre-Written Field Reports – ABC NEWS

  • When an anchor knows more about retail pricing than the CEO of the largest store chain.

There is the adage that in a debate or in courtrooms, you should not ask a question that you do not already know the answer to. This is wisdom that George Stephanopoulos clearly does not possess, as he is simply convinced of something to be true, absent any research.

He brought on John Furner, head of the Walmart retail chain, to discuss the prices of basics ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday. George was simply positive that turkey was vastly more expensive this year due to tariffs, which itself is kind of laughable, given that we as a country tend to grow our own bird supply. Furner not only disavowed the anchor of his theory but crushed his hopes by informing him that turkey prices this year were at 2019 levels.

In his desperate effort to save face, Stephanopoulos then tried to get the CEO to agree that other goods are more expensive, only to be refuted. Then he tried a third time, implying Americans were feeling pricing pressure in general, and he was promptly shot down a third time by Furner.

News Avoidance Syndrome – VARIOUS OUTLETS

  • Maybe this makes him a “mostly peaceful” Nazi?

For balance, let us first recall almost one year ago, when Pete Hegseth was nominated to be Secretary of Defense, and the press was in a full-court press to attack the man. One of the stories was that he was unqualified because he has on his chest a prominent “white supremacist tattoo.” That the journalists were ignorant of the Jerusalem Cross was one thing, but their inability to research this detail was rather evident. Then they were further shamed when, during this time, former President Jimmy Carter was lying in state, and the cathedral where he was presented not only had this cross inlaid in the floor, but it was also featured in the funeral program handed out to mourners.

Now, we have another tattoo controversy, only the press does not want to touch it. In Maine, Graham Platner is vying for the Democratic Party nomination in a Senate race, and he has been spotted in a video with a tattoo on his chest – a skull and bones image called the Totemkopf, which originated with the Nazis. Further, Platner has attested that this is, in fact, the image on his skin.

Despite it being accurately assigned to Nazis, and the candidate admitting this is accurate, the press is somehow not motivated to make this a national story shared by many outlets, nor are Democrats being challenged to answer for this appearance.
