Reporting on the Mirror – CNN

  • They are ending this current version in order to put out a new version, replicating the initial failed version.

In its second attempt at getting CNN into the streaming module, Warner Bros. Discovery incorporated a live version on its HBOMax platform, dubbed “CNN Max.” Well, emails went out to customers this weekend announcing that by the middle of next month, the service will no longer be available. This came as a surprise to many subscribers – as most were not aware of CNN Max.

This is to pave the way for an altogether separate streaming venture for the news channel.

If this is delivering the feeling of “CNN+,” the failed first attempt at streaming that lasted one month and became a monumental failure to the tune of billions of dollars wasted, that is a sound impression. Consider, they are offering a paid premium service for a news channel that people are flocking away from when it appears for free on their channel lineups.

Pathological Media Amnesia – MSNBC

  • Sure seems her impressions shift based on who is being arrested.

There is some excitement surrounding Kash Patel allegedly firing an FBI figure over their refusal to conduct an arrest. The media is dressing this up as a desire to have a “perp walk” performed to generate propaganda.

MSNBC legal affairs expert Barb McQuade weighed in on the matter, declaring that this type of staged arrest violates DOJ protocols. And yet…

We seem to have a vivid memory of Trump figure Roger Stone being arrested, and it was shown live on CNN. Ms. McQuade seems to have no memory of this taking place. Nor does she have memory of applauding the manner the DOJ conducted that arrest.

Democratic Custodial Services – NBC NEWS

  • Purchance the content of said text message was pertinent, no?

While the Jay Jones scandal continues to grow, and the gross contents of text messages where he suggested shooting a political opponent, as well as saying his children should die so people could feel pain, have become a swelling issue, he has apparently been shown to have a track record of this type of political intolerance.

The press has been grudgingly pulled into this story, and we see them trying to massage the issue with these tamped-down headlines. While detailing the contents in the article, the headline was made to be shared with a dismissive approach to the story.

Both Kinds of Standards – ESPN

  • Seems he is running for the wrong party.

There is a bit of intrigue involving ESPN. Clay Travis recently had on longtime ESPN announcer Paul Finebaum for an interview, during which Finebaum hinted at a possible political career with the Republican Party. Since the interview, Travis says that Finebaum has been sidelined.

The network says this is not true and that he will appear on Tuesday broadcasts, but Travis says sources say there are no shows scheduled for Finebaum.

Meanwhile, Stephan A. Smith has long been hinting at a political run and he has suffered no drop in airtime.
