It is becoming beyond obvious that NBC News field reporter Jacob Soboroff is a deeply partisan hack. Whether the way he covered the political conventions last year to his slanted takes on immigration, he is clearly in bed with the Democrats in his reporting. For the latest, his bald bias is on full display.
Appearing with Nicolle Wallace on “Deadline: White House,” he was “reporting” on the story of the man recently picked up by ICE agents in California, who is constantly referred to as a father of three Marines. This was a man shown on video to be wrestled to the ground and attacked, as Soboroff neutrally says, “How can you not be sickened by that?”

Well, Jake, by doing something you did not want to engage in, and that is looking into the whole story. As is almost always the case with these video examples of “oppressive” actions by authorities, we only are shown the after-effects, we do not get footage of the activity preceding these clips.
For starters, the man is in this country illegally. Next, Soboroff claims these agents did not identify themselves yet we clearly see them in uniforms with the agency appearing in bright yellow.
When he was confronted, the man refused to comply with agents, he fended them off with his lawn implement, and tried to flee the scene. These are the actions that will lead to you becoming gang-rushed by federal agents.

News Avoidance Syndrome – VARIOUS OUTLETS
So it is not defying SCOTUS itself that is so threatening, but who is doing it?
Let’s briefly hearken back to all of the promise we had been delivered of Trump becoming an authoritarian and how our democracy will be destroyed, at least partly due to him allegedly defying the Supreme Court.
Now, let’s note how rogue regional judges have been routinely sprouting up to thwart presidential action through very suspect rulings. It has gotten so bad we see judges looking to reverse activity that is entirely legal, such as enforcing our immigration laws.
Well, it may have just become worse.
On Monday, the Supreme Court reversed a recent ruling and declared the president is perfectly correct in deporting individuals to a third party nation if an order was made restricting them to be sent back to their homeland. Immediately after this ruling, the judge who had been overturned, Brian Murphy of Massachusetts, announced he was reinstating his restriction under the claim that the White House did not properly argue against his ruling.
Murphy was one of Biden’s final appointments in his lame duck session in December and here he is opposing the Supreme Court on his own ruling. So not only is a lowly district judge blocking presidential action but he is openly defying SCOTUS – but we hear not a word of outrage or concern for the democracy threat this poses.

Low-Octane Gaslighting – CBS NEWS
So instead of cutting losses, we should extend the costly failure.
Part of Joe Biden’s monstrous infrastructure spending plan had been to revamp the fleet of Postal Service vehicles to all EVs. Billions of dollars went into the plan, yet as had been reported in December, the company that should have had thousands of the EVs on the road had only delivered a few hundred, with a planned output of 80 per day becoming only a single vehicle rolling off the line.
CBS News says that the new spending bill moving through Congress would end the program and cause the USPS to sell off the existing EVs. This is pointed at as something mean that the GOP is enacting, rather than the failed boondoggle this enterprise has become.

You cannot celebrate the differences of opinion and then apologize for voicing that opinion.
It is remarkable when a broadcaster says something completely normal, possibly even great, and becomes admonished almost instantly and a correction needs to be made quickly. During a live WNBA broadcast, analyst Lisa Lobo was filling airtime during a stoppage in play and was commenting on a possible disagreement that took place in the game.
“They disagree with you, and I disagree with them. That’s what makes America great, right?”
There must have been a killing of the mic with producers chiming in Lobo’s ear, because right after she said this, there was eight seconds of dead air. This was then followed by Lobo shamefully saying, “I should rephrase that,” and her booth partner then added that a better way of saying it was that “Different opinions are perfectly fine.”
Lobo says with relief, “That’s a better way of saying it. Sorry about that!”
Was this all because her original comment was too on-the-nose with Trump’s catchphrase? Even if that is the case, needing to apologize after declaring that differing opinions are great is a pathetic bending of the knee, for no sane reason at all.
