Glossary Over Things – THE NEW YORK TIMES

  • Once the lawyers learn you can relabel criminal activity, we are doomed!

The case of NYC mayoral candidate Brad Lander preventing ICE agents from detaining an illegal immigrant has led to creative interpretations in the press. He was cuffed by agents after he interceded and attempted to block ICE from collecting the individual.

After Lander told the AP he was attempting to “accompany” the person in question, The New York Times detailed that Lander had simply “tried to steer” the man past ICE agents, and was trying to “escort a migrant whom agents were seeking to arrest.”

See?! No reason to arrest someone for THAT behavior!

Democratic Custodial Services – AXIOS

  • This legal thesaurus will be a best seller in law schools!

Joining The Times in this recalibration effort, but taking it to all new levels, is Axios, as the outlet sought to redefine a number of Democrat infractions.

In wanting to draw up a list of the Democrats who have faced various authority interventions, in order to impugn President Trump, they ran into a problem – The Democrats did things worthy of detention.

As a result, we get a number of examples where trying to force a way into an ICE facility is a “protest,” battling agents was simply “interfering,” and Lander was doing nothing more than “visiting an immigration court.”

Anti-Social Media – DAILY MAIL

  • The arbiters of inciteful language are at it again.

It is always special when the press that frequently frets and clutches pearls over language they deem to be insensitive are found guilty of that very infraction.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem was taken to a hospital over an allergic reaction, and the Daily Maily saw this sensitive situation as a chance to inject bias in a rather insensitive fashion.

Prose & Contradiction – WASHINGTON POST

  • Well…we did not like it, therefore, the ruling is “polarizing.”

The Supreme Court just supported the new law in Tennessee limiting access for minors to have gender-affirming surgery. The paper described this as a split decision (it was 6-3), but more notable was the description that this was a “polarizing national issue.”

Polls show that there is widespread support for this restriction, but further they tried to frame this as SCOTUS making a wildly divergent ruling that simply upheld what had been ruled.

Artisanally-Crafted Narratives – WIRED

  • Seriously, again with this nonsense?

The tech magazine has been showing a tendency to wade into political matters, and they usually show how they are better served keeping their focus on tech issues. Case in point, the outlet has this SCOOP it delivered, and you have to wonder how excited they became when given this paltry political story.

We have seen numerous reports over the years that this Appeal To Heaven flag was a symbol of the January 6 riot, but the mere fact that this 250-year-old symbol of liberty was seen in the vicinity is all that is given as “proof” of anything more.

BlueAnon – THE INDEPENDENTS

  • Chris sounds very bothered by this – yet he is silent as to why it is bothersome.

If you want an example that typifies the press derangement these days in regards to President Trump, there is this clip from dispatched CNN pundit Chris Cillizza. He seems upset that Donald Trump intends to put flag poles up at the White House.

That – is all. We…we have no idea what the problem is here.
