Hoax & Change – THE NEW YORK TIMES
Were they hoping people would not notice this time?!
Seriously with this, New York Times? Seriously?!
The press is currently embroiled in the after-effects of the Jake Tapper-Alex Thompson book that essentially spelled out how news outlets worked to cover up Joe Biden’s mental decline. Making it scandalous was not merely overlooking his cognitive slide but in the way that journalists were attacking those of us willing to display accurate evidence.
Now, we see one of the worst offenders of this practice is back at it, as Joe Concha lays out, telling us once again not to believe our own eyes regarding the Los Angeles ICE riots.

You guys at the Times couldn’t make this easier if you tried…

Low-Octane Gaslighting – MSNBC
No need to research this, just take John at his word – it didn’t happen!
Is he brazen or does he believe his audience is simply too stupid to think for themselves? Possibly both.
On “Morning Joe,” panelist John Heilemann was discussing the developments in Los Angeles and he actually made the statement that – despite news reports showing us the rioting that began Friday evening – there had been no rioting or violence on Friday and Saturday, and it only began after President Trump sent in the National Guard.
I’m sorry, how does someone who plies their trade on television like @JHeil not understand that visuals are attainable for the general public?!

This outright LIE that there were no riots Friday and Saturday is mockably debunked by news reports. pic.twitter.com/twBuXM0blE
BlueAnon – THE ATLANTIC
We won’t even attempt to connect the red string for David on this one.
In predictable fashion, David Frum has come out in opposition to Donald Trump sending National Guard troops into the riot areas of Los Angeles. In equally predictable fashion, Frum manages to make no sense with his explanation of things.
Somehow he makes the connection that Trump is making something of a dry run here because he intends to do this again – during the 2026 midterm elections. So…sure, David, let’s go with that…
There is no reason to click into his piece; it does not make any more sense the more he explains it.
What you saw from Trump in CA this weekend was not law enforcement.
— David Frum (@davidfrum) June 8, 2025
What you saw was a test of ways and means for Trump to disrupt and pervert the 2026 elections.

Race to the Bottom – MSNBC
Okay, Eddie? Not every news item is about you and your racial fever dreams.
MSNBC fixture Eddie Glaude was brought in to discuss the ICE riots in L.A. No, we do not know why, so stop asking!
What is apparent here is that Glaude is a bit bothered that this is a topic concerning Hispanics and those from other countries – in other words, not involving him or his pet subject of slavery. So, he had to find a way to make it about him, and slavery, and in his efforts, he manages to sound so ridiculous that unlike with Frum, this one needs to be heard to be believed.

Pre-Written Field Reports – CNN
She set the ball up on the tee only to be body-checked because her guest was playing hockey.
CNN has been perpetually on the wrong side of the facts in the days of riot coverage and you saw this with a segment involving a field reporter interviewing a member from the L.A Board of Supervisors. The board member was asked if she felt that the protesters were having a bigger negative impact on the city or the ICE agents and the immigrant sweeps.
Her guest not only delivered the answer she was not anticipating but went on to declare forcefully that the people rioting are anarchists, something that drives a blade into the narrative bubble CNN has been inflating for days.
CNN: Are the 'protests' or the ICE raids having a bigger impact on the city of Los Angeles?

LA County Supervisor: The 'protests.' This is not peaceful. These are anarchists.
