Prose & Contradiction – AXIOS
We will need this standard to be more defined please, Alex.
Alex Thompson has a new exposé – of sorts – that former White House staffers are willing to come out and indicate that former Biden Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre had been a complete disaster at the job.
One side aspect he discovered was that KJP worked with a New York PR representative to promote herself while still on the job, and he showed a development where this rep had once denied, off the record, that they collaborated while she was still at the White House. Once he made a discovery in emails that they had in fact been in communication prior to KJP leaving the White House, he stated that since the rep had lied, that voided the anonymity and he was free to publish her name.
This raises a significant question: If lying is the determining factor, then why are so many of the sources he and Jake Tapper used for their book – where many confirmed to be hiding and lying about Biden’s mental condition – still allowed to remain anonymous in the book?

Presentation Paradox – CNN
You are going to regret this position in seven months.
When it comes to journalistic standards, CNN is so much better because they have twice as many.
It is with no shortage of amusement that we watched as Manu Raju hosted a panel to discuss the Republicans beginning to look into matters concerning the Biden administration, his diminished ability to lead the country, and who was actually running the show and operating the autopen.
David Chalian scoffs at this effort because he declares that it is wrong-headed as “a very backwards-looking exercise.” We apparently need to remind the panel that they were on the network that treats January 6, 2020, as a national holiday every year and looks to reference that fateful day in any news report possible.

Matching Media Memorandum – VARIOUS OUTLETS
We missed it, when was this decision declared again?!
It appears that we have entered yet a new phase in the fallout from the Jake Tapper Alex Thompson book "Original Sin." Suddenly, we are seeing a number of news outlets referring to the declared and agreed upon fact that Joe Biden was in severe mental decline in ways that cast that into question. Politico references this mental state problem as being “alleged,” and NBC News went with quotes around cognitive decline as if it was still up for debate. Worst of the lot is that CNN is also playing this game, after weeks of their own newsman pimping his book that establishes Biden was a pudding-brained lost cause.

Body Checking the Fact-Checkers – THE BBC
“Okay, we may have run their exact claims, but that does not mean we BELIEVED them!”
The reports from the weekend that Israeli troops fired upon Palestinians who gathered at relief aid locations have been completely blown into confetti, as numerous outlets have looked ridiculous for the false reports. Some took their posts down, others ran updates and corrections, and all looked patently incompetent for believing the information spoon-fed to them by the Gaza Health Ministry, an arm of Hamas.
At the White House, Karoline Leavitt laid into two outlets in particular – the Washington Post and the BBC – for their unhinged reporting. As a result, the BBC came out with a video excusing itself and debunking Ms. Leavitt – by confirming exactly what she had said:
LEAVITT: Unfortunately unlike some in the media, we don't take the word of Hamas with total truth.
BBC FACT CHECKER: But BBC News didn't do that. It did quote the Hamas-run health ministry with clear attribution. The ministry, which is part of the Hamas-controlled government, is the main source of official information when it comes to casualties in Gaza.
So, you reprint their claims completely in your news items without challenging the details or investigating those further, but that should not be thought of as the BBC agreeing with the claims.
Gotcha…
On Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt made a series of claims about the BBC's coverage of events in Gaza on Sunday. We've looked at the claims - and the number of misrepresentations and untruths that they contained. https://t.co/gn2TdfaxDT

Reporting on the Mirror – MSNBC
You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here!
The separation of MSNBC, and a clutch of other cable channels, from parent company Comcast is all but final, and we see that this also means a complete separation from NBC News, as well.
As the new spin-off company for the channels will be called Versant, it also means they will be completely independent physically.
By August, the network will be moving into its new, albeit temporary, headquarters in New York City, as the cable news channel has to leave its longtime digs at 30 Rockefeller Center. Until a permanent location is established, the network will broadcast from a building that was once the home of Buzzfeed.

Pathological Media Amnesia – MSNBC
So these are no longer Nazi workouts, is that the conclusion?
MSNBC enthusiastically reports that the Democrats have come up with their latest in a never-ending string of “solutions” they have to lure male voters to their side. This time, the plan is to focus on workout gyms where these men congregate, apparently.
But this runs headlong into the previous reports from MSNBC, where they concluded definitively that physical fitness and working out were the practices of hateful, racist, white supremacists, so we are rather confused about this whole enterprise now.
I would love an explanation from @MSNBC, given I covered them in the past declaring how working out is the realm of white supremacy.
