The Jake Tapper book is managing to only expose more of the problems in the media environment, and for the past week, Tapper and his network have managed to look worse with the release of segments from his book. In another example of the problems there was this look back at another figure delivering media malpractice: CNN’s former Media Maven, Oliver Darcy.
In looking over many of the elements from Tapper’s book that have indicated seriously horrid practices in the press, there was Darcy – allegedly in the role of criticizing media misbehavior – engaged in those very practices. From calling it all a conspiracy to saying Biden would outperform at the debate, to pushing the “Cheap fakes video” canard to attacking The Wall Street Journal report Tapper calls “heroic” today, Oliver was guilty of ALL of it.

Bravery in the face of indisputable facts.
The release of the audio from the Robert Hur-Joe Biden interview has only added to the deflection and distemper in the press. The need and effort to spin and recalibrate their explanations has crossed the border of desperation. Perhaps delivering a shining example of this is Abby Phillip, as she tries to reposition opinion on the matter, needing to ignore the prior narratives.
Phillip was presenting the new audio and sounded open and honest about how poorly Biden sounded in the recordings.

She also sounded a polar opposite of what she was initially telling people about Joe Biden’s condition, calling it something that only the Republicans want people to believe.

You know what, you all should just stop any Catholic coverage from now on.
It was a couple of weeks ago that The Daily Beast came out with a report that Pope Francis refused to have a meeting with VP JD Vance. It managed to look completely ridiculous as almost instantly pictures circulated of the meeting with the passed Pontiff. Now, the geniuses are at it again.
In another claim of a spurned encounter, the dolt claimed newly christened Pope Leo did not want to meet with Vance – only to have it shown Vance and Marco Rubio had a lengthy meeting, and Pope Leo posed for photos with them.
This outlet does not have a prayer at getting the facts straight.
This is the second time in 2 weeks -- AND 2 POPES - that you cement-heads have made this farcical lie about Vance being spurned, despite getting a private audience.

Well after all of the USAID cuts, maybe we can afford it?
While there has been a slew of questions that sprung from the announcement that former President Biden has advanced prostate cancer, there has also been speculation that this has been another form of a cover-up while he was in office. Only adding fuel to that discussion was this explanation from a CBS News medical contributor (who also has connections to the Biden administration) as to why this may not have taken place:

This is probably a sign of getting out at the right time.
The CEO of the CBS News sector Wendy McMahon forcibly stepped down from her roost. It all seems to stem from the ongoing conflicts taking place inside the news division as a result of the “60 Minutes” lawsuit brought by President Trump, which led recently to the resignation of that program’s longtime executive producer.
It is all shaping up that pressure from parent company Paramount to clean up the bias at the network is leading to deep resistance from the biased executives in place.
