Pathological Media Amnesia – CNN

  • At this rate, Jake’s book needs to be shelved in the Humor Section.

With the release of his “scathing” book on the 2024 election, “Original Sin,” Jake Tapper is out pimping its release. Okay, maybe not “out,” as he has been seen mostly at his home network.

That said, the insufferable aspects of this release continue to be on display, with the latest looking to be among the lamest. Tapper is heard sounding rather tough and taking a stern stand, stating how the White House insisting that videos of Biden’s many issues were “cheap fakes” was “falsely labeling” what they were, declaring accurately they were accurate portrayals.

But Jake is practicing his own fakery here by blaming this entirely on the Biden administration because, as is shown here, there were numerous examples of this narrative being used by journalists – AT HIS OWN NETWORK. This underscores the very root problems seen with him writing this book.

Stealth Story Evolution – WASHINGTON POST

  • They stand firmly behind their standard of “Well, it depends…”

It will never stop being amusing that news outlets will constantly discuss how Donald Trump keeps breaking political decorum…and then turn around and justify that Trump is also the reason why breaking that decorum becomes acceptable.

Gilded Reframe – CNN

  • The recoiling over good economic news continues…

This makes for the third consecutive day that positive economic news has been spun into a negative in the press. This time, CNN is back at it, looking at the stark reality that egg prices have been consistently coming down, much to the annoyance of the media.

So, when faced with this very upbeat news item, it managed to contort thinking into this gem of a headline.

Race to the Bottom – CNN

  • We realize she is a guest, but can somebody call her out, please?

It is revealing to see the reactions from the left regarding the group of South African Boers who are under attack by their government and have legally applied for asylum to come to the States. Most of the arguments against them coming here have to do with the fact that most of them are white.

A former Biden administration figure here states they should not be coming to the U.S., but she also says they are not entitled to remain in their home country either. Again, because of their skin color.

Her solution? Send them back to Germany, where they belong. Yes…about that. The Boers who settled in South Africa are actually of Netherlands extraction, but we understand, they all look alike — right?
