Stealth Story Evolution – CNN / AXIOS

  • The most insufferable exposé is almost upon us.

We are one week away from the book release from Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson, “Original Sin,” their coverage on the revelations of what went on in the Joe Biden White House and campaign.

It really is insufferable that the journalists who aided in the Biden cover-up have been rewarded with a book deal, but here they are, and exclusive excerpts have come out.

One of the insufferable portions was George Clooney claiming to be affected when Biden did not recognize him, as they had been close for years.

This would be the same George Clooney who initially denied there was a problem with Biden after video from the Hollywood fundraiser circulated, then went forward and announced Biden needed to step down from the campaign, AND THEN after Kamala Harris lost said he was upset that he had been coerced to push Biden out. This is all such a bold sham of an attempt at rewriting history.

Low-Octane Gaslighting – CBS NEWS

  • Blaming the government for the bad decisions it made is a precious touch.

In an attempt at defending against the course cuts to government programs, CBS News comes out with this anti-DOGE screed, painting a picture of a saintly octogenarian who is battling against the dark forces of the nefarious government to protect the defenseless little people. It frames a story of an elderly widower who went to battle with DOGE, though deep in the piece we learn the real motivation is he wants to preserve the sanctity of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

It turned out he had — not skin in the game — but a needed bailout from the agency:

"We saw an opportunity, not just to gain something that we were entitled to, but also to do something that will change lives for lots of dedicated workers and for people all around the country who have suffered injustices, quiet things that nobody ever notices," Ted Steege said.

And what was the cause of this suffering they endured? They took out a hefty student loan at the age of 60, and want to get one of Joe Biden’s bailouts:

The injustice the couple faced originated with Eva's decision in her 60s to fulfill a lifelong dream of becoming a pastor. To afford her seminary school tuition, Steege said the couple sold their house and took on $43,000 in debt. The couple approached the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau for help enrolling in a federal loan forgiveness program.

Race to the Bottom – MSNBC

  • People who can contribute to society?! Hell NO, we won’t let them in!

It has been a baffling reality that the media and the Democrats have been insisting on this country taking in and retaining those who have shown a hatred for this country or have displayed violent and antisocial behavior. But now that Donald Trump is looking to take in a collection of South Africans who are largely family members and professionals, we are seeing the press coming out and opposing immigration.

Dangerous gang members and Hamas-supporting, anti-western activists are given the red carpet welcome, but whites who are grateful and professional are reviled and cursed at; make it make sense.

Both Kinds of Standards – NBC NEWS

  • Suddenly, daily economic updates are required.

Flashback to the last four years as we had been told all manner of new perspectives about the economy. Under Joe Biden, they brought in new measurements of a recession (in order to not declare there was a recession), said inflation was good for the economy, that Bidenomics was working, and other canards.

Now, NBC News is rather convinced it can display how poorly the economy is under President Trump, who has been in office for only one quarter, that it’s going to run a daily grocery ticker.

Unreal shift in standards.

Presentation Paradox – ABC NEWS

  • Wait, we were told inflation was a good thing…?

Meanwhile, in other economic chicanery, ABC had to wrestle with some positive news about the inflation rate. Last month, there was barely a tick up in the price rate, as it came in much better than analysts had predicted. The low-energy reporting on this news is notable, as is the effort to then reach back to a year-to-year rate in order to come up with a much bigger 2.3% graphic to highlight (the vast majority of which rose under Biden), over the miniscule 0.2% rise last month.

Pre-written Field Reports – GOOGLE

  • You know, you did have the choice of not covering this story at all.

A number of outlets ran the…we guess it is considered “news”...that Google had come out with the announcement it was altering the corporate “G” logo for the first time in ten years.

This is itself a questionable item to cover, but then when you actually see the change there is a good chance you would be inspired to slap the editor who assigned this non-story to a cub reporter.
