News Avoidance Syndrome – VARIOUS OUTLETS

At Puck News, Dylan Byers reports that in speaking with many White House correspondents, he had learned many are recognizing the diminishing faculties of Joe Biden:

Now, the Hur report has stirred some soul-searching. This week I surveyed members of the White House press corps…and they all emphasized that the symptoms of Biden’s age have become more noticeable in recent months and a frequent discussion topic at the desks behind the Brady Briefing Room.

How about that? They all recognize this and acknowledge it to each other, yet they not only do not report on this to the public, but they have been tossing scorn toward those willing to give voice to this reality they recognize to be true.

  • Pretending this is something the Democrats want might only fool Joe Biden.

We once again get faced with the journalism dilemma – is this a case of abject delusion in the media or outright lying?! The AP tries selling us on the concept that the Democrats are hungry – desperate, really – to get a tougher border bill passed, but that darn Donald Trump is blocking things!

Of course, for this concept to take root, we need to ignore the years of denial over the border crisis, ignore the Senate "border bill" had 25% of its budget for the border, ignore Joe Biden has been suing to stop border law enforcement, and ignore that Senator Chuck Schumer is ignoring the stand-alone border bill passed by the House nine months ago.

Okay, we'll make the call – the AP is lying its ass off on this matter.

Pathological Media Amnesia – VOX

Let's flashback to just under four years ago, shall we? Back in that COVID-polluted era, there were all manner of questions and curiosities about the outbreak, and we were told by the press at the time quite a large amount of those were off-limits. So much so that many people daring to ask about things or offer up possible solutions were scorned, ridiculed, punished, or even banished. One of those topics had been broached by Donald Trump, and he was roundly ridiculed and called dangerous as a result of bringing it up:

Trump took to the podium and made a deeply bizarre inference. “Supposing we hit the body with a tremendous, whether it’s ultraviolet or just very powerful light ... and then I said supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way.”

That was Vox on April 23, 2020. And what say the expert explainers at the outlet today? Well, they are actually asking the type of questions that four years ago would have seen these same minds calling for the censorship police.

Anti-Social Media – CNN

  • When the perception of favoring the Russians is worse than actually working with the Russians.

With all of the whispers going around about a severe security threat that could potentially involve the U.S. space program, CNN pundit and rumored former Republican Adam Kinzinger had a caustic hot take on the matter. It seems he let his contempt for Elon Musk get the better of him, as he lashed out at the man behind the wildly successful privatized Space X enterprise.

Of course, we never get told why this is specifically "concerning." It would seem that having an American making it possible to launch American payloads and people from America is less concerning than what was our space reality just decades ago. If it is supposedly worrisome to be involved with Musk over some Russian connectivity, then what would Kinzinger call it back when our astronauts launched from Russia, and we relied on that country's Soyuz program to launch our satellites?

Reporting on the Mirror (microphone) – AUDACY

  • There is no way this sounds good.

For some time, it has been an under-the-radar story that George Soros had purchased some Spanish-language radio stations. With Democrats losing traction with Hispanic voters, his buying up just over a dozen stations was seen as a hedge move to stem that trend. Now, things appear more serious.

Last month, the radio group Audacy – the second-largest radio station syndicate in the country – filed for bankruptcy, sporting a debt responsibility of just under $2 billion. Soros has bought his way into a partnership position by taking on $400 million worth of that debt. This will grant him significant interest in a company that owns more than 220 radio stations across the country, many of those with conservative talk formats.

Legalized Press-titution – ROLLING STONE

  • If this is edgy and cutting-edge, you may need to find a sharpener.

We don't want to imply that Rolling Stone – which just chased away its Editor-in-chief – is in a desperate situation to attract readers. Instead, we will show you how this is the case.

The outlet has actress Kristen Stewart on its cover, fondling herself and declaring she wants to do "the gayest thing ever."

Bear this in mind: If you are to show any reaction or care about someone's sexuality, you can expect to get a reaction about minding your business and not concerning yourself with the private lives of others. Those others, meanwhile, are content to splash their private lives on magazine covers, and they are to be celebrated.
