We are watching the end of the most amazing period in human history.
Have you ever watched a ballgame when your team is down by 10 runs in the seventh inning? Statistics-obsessed baseball will tell you that there is still a non-zero chance that your team could come back with 11 in the ninth and win it all. I have a friend who sewed up Curt Schilling when Boston went from 0-3 against the Yankees to win eight straight and the World Series. The likelihood of such events is low, so one may not want to bet the house on a miracle happening, though not impossible.
One can watch videos of the destruction in Paris by mostly foreign gangs as an outcome of winning the European soccer championship. It’s hard to understand what they would have done differently if Paris Saint-Germain had lost. Cars are on their sides, some on fire. Businesses have broken windows and stand looted. How did a society go so far in the wrong direction for such events to take place? Why are the police and other officialdom primarily reactive and not proactive? How can a society succeed when its most famed street and most iconic tower stand with smoldering fires set by hooligans who, for the most part, either have no business being in the country or are legal descendants of immigrants and hate France no less?
And don’t think that a big ocean keeps the problems away from the United States. It was a joke to see AOC wearing a head-covering as she addressed a Muslim crowd in New York. If next year they demand a whole body suit with only eye slits, will she agree? Of course. The West, starting with the Left, has surrendered to Islam. Surprisingly, for people who pay no attention to their own religion and poo-poo that of the Jews, Islam is somehow above reproach or disrespect. Why didn’t AOC say that she never covers her hair: take me or leave me as I am. Nope, can I get a hair pin with that?
When Jews are harassed at New York restaurants, the Left and its short-term Muslim friends have shown that they have won. When a famous Israeli chef has to close his Berlin restaurant because his clients are bothered day in and day out, then the red-black alliance has won, and the West has lost. Many people like to repeat the “First they came for the Saturday people….” With today’s alliance of Sharia-centered Muslims and valueless atheistic lefties in the West, they are going for an “All of the Above” approach. Jews may be harassed wherever they go in Spain, Greece, and England, but dozens of churches have been burned to the ground in Canada. One hundred and fifty churches were set alight in England between 2017 and 2022. The Muslim-Marxist nexus disdains Jews, Israel, Christianity, and the West in equal measure. Some imams in the U.S. are not shy about wishing to end the Republic and replace it with a new wing of a modern caliphate. Muslims in Europe are even less shy about saying the same. So why is the West treating this five-alarm fire as a campground S'mores bake-off?
The reason the West has gone past the point of no return is that it has no driving ethos to protect the great good it has. Israel fights on multiple fronts because Jews feel that survival and growth are worth fighting for. The West had this mojo in World War II. It was clear that it was going to be Hitler’s way or the Western way. There could be no compromise, and it took a bloody war to end Hitler and Tojo’s dreams of world domination. Today, many people believe in nothing. They just want to be left alone. They want to be with their devices or maybe their families if they have them. They are not interested in abstractions like freedom, democracy, education, and progress. They won’t realize until it is too late that Pakistan and Afghanistan are coming. It seems like every few weeks, the Taliban figure out some new way to make women disappear from all realms beyond baby production: forbidden to be educated, only one eye slit open for getting around, not to leave the house. The Muslims who deface American monuments are from this brand of Islam. I guess one has to look at the upside: we will no longer have the problem of guys competing in women’s sports. The trans guys will be pushed off tall buildings, while the women will be told to stay home and not compete. Who knew that they had the solution to such a problem vexing the West?
If the milquetoast leaders in Western Europe suddenly found their inner Rambo and started to sink incoming illegal immigrant boats and fly out illegal immigrants at the rate of a plane every 90 seconds, then one might once again see the warm and fuzzy images of families walking safely in their towns and kids playing in parks not overrun with people who should never have been let in in the first place. It’s amazing how much most countries made sure that Jews could not enter as they tried desperately to escape Europe before and during World War II. One infamous case had the travelers on the St. Louis being denied entry in Cuba and being sent back to Europe, where 254 of the passengers perished during the Holocaust. Donald Trump has done an exceptional job in closing the porous southern border and putting ICE to work to throw out illegal aliens. The problem of illegal Muslims, Qatar funding, and Muslim Brotherhood planning can no longer be ignored. Maybe Europe is lost between the combination of large-scale invasion from Muslim countries, combined with feckless European leaders and institutions. But the U.S. cannot wait while groups chant in the streets for an “intifada revolution” to finish off the Jews. Mamdani and Hochul can coddle the Jew-haters. Heck, the mayor can’t even be bothered to attend the annual Israel parade in Manhattan. But the feds have got to see Code Red and stop the influx, start the egress, and monitor the ones who cannot be thrown out. There is no mitzvah for societal suicide, and the U.S. is too precious to lose.
One can scream, “Racism!” but I don’t know of any other religious or ethnic group that has publicly stated its interest in overthrowing the government of the United States. There is a supremacism reflected in Islam being a political/religious movement. It is not enough for Muslims to live in America and keep to themselves. For many, there is a religious driver to spread Islam and take over the local land. Egypt was once Coptic Christian, just as Lebanon was once Maronite Catholic. That the U.S. today is a Christian country guided by the founding documents does not mean that it cannot fall through violence or giving up on itself. Iran does not have to storm the Eastern seaboard. It’s enough to be like England and bring in numerous people who do not want to assimilate and then give them enough innings (generations) to simply take over local, state and finally federal offices. Look at Dearborn, Michigan. They named a street after a Hezbollah supporter.
1. Declare Islam a direct threat to the American Republic.
2. Ban the Muslim Brotherhood, as the Saudis and Emiratis did so long ago.
3. Tax all Qatari and similar money flowing to U.S. universities at 50 percent.
4. Throw out illegal alien Muslims or any visa violators.
5. Severely restrict immigration from Muslim countries.
6. Convince the FBI to investigate American Muslims as aggressively as they went after Trump associates.
The Republic is in the balance. Will we preserve it?
