Say what you mean.
There was a disgusting scene last week of Hamas-loving/Jew-hating people across from a Manhattan synagogue, braying for Jewish blood. One Jewish fellow was seen blocked by protesters from getting near the entrance to the synagogue. This scene could easily have been from 1938 Germany, but no, it was in the city with the largest number of Jews in the Western world. In a short video, I saw the garbage that dresses as orthodox Jews and holds signs against the state of Israel. They are universally hated, including in the orthodox and ultraorthodox communities. They are losers who think that they are continuing some holy fight against the secular state of Israel. The damage they do cannot be calculated, because while someone is screaming for Jewish blood, he can always point to these human trash compactors and say, “Hey, look, the guy mumbling in Yiddish with the dead raccoon on his head is on our side, so we can’t be antisemitic!”
So what do their slogans mean?

So why can’t they just say what they really want to say? If one thinks of a movie star wearing some risque outfit, he might just wonder why she bothers to dress at all. But society still has some norms and nudity is not accepted in public, though San Francisco almost passed an ordinance to allow for sitting naked on public benches. The same is true in public discourse. If the lunatics and Jew-haters across from the Park East Synagogue screamed, “Let’s kill all of those Jews in there!”, someone might have taken them up on their proposal, and then there could be legal problems. Additionally, screaming, “Death to the IDF!” at people who have nothing to do with the IDF tries to make their antisemitic orgy seem like it has something to do with Gaza, Palestinians, genocide, and blah blah.
While Jew haters of all stripes need no reason to justify their hatred, sometimes they try to conjure something up, if only to allow them to sleep at night. Maybe you remember that Bin Laden justified the attack on the Twin Towers by stating that “they” voted for Bush. The fact that many of those murdered did not vote for Bush was irrelevant. Instead of saying that he wanted to make war on the Great Satan, he tried to find some pathetic justification for mass murder. So, the animals across from the NY synagogue claimed that a meeting of Nefesh’B” Nefesh was the proximate cause for their hatred. And that’s kind of funny. This organization exists to help Jews emigrating from North America to successfully integrate into Israeli society. They help find jobs and houses, aid in navigating Israel’s Byzantine bureaucracy, and act as a clearinghouse for those looking to move to Israel. If the dreck in New York wants fewer Jews around, then they should have been thrilled that an effort was underway in the venerable synagogue to get Jews out of the US. But they don’t want Jews in New York, Israel or anywhere else. Mamdani and his garbage claimed that there was some nefarious international activity going on, when in reality the evening was dedicated to getting people pointed in the right direction, should they decide to move to Israel. The Hamas lovers hate Jews, period. They don’t want them anywhere, and they will use any justification to express their hatred.
Jew hatred so strong in America is something that I thought I would never see. Sure, there have been some antisemitic incidents throughout American history, but there was never such an organized hatred towards Jews in America as there is now. A Jew can sit in a kosher restaurant and be verbally attacked for the sin of eating a bagel. He can walk to services on Saturday and get pushed around, with his kippah knocked off and his children threatened with violence. He can get on a flight and receive a kosher meal with “free Palestine” scribbled on it. American Jews have never experienced such things and certainly not with such consistency and intensity. None of these Hamas lovers and their lefty friends interview a victim to ask if he supports Israel and the IDF or what his views of the Gaza conflict might be. No, he’s a Jew, he’s guilty, and he deserves to be threatened, pushed around, beaten or worse.
The US started to realize that the Muslim Brotherhood was one of the major drivers of rising antisemitism in the US. The UAE, Egypt and others banned the Brotherhood decades ago, and it seemed that the US was on the way to doing the same. The State Department announced plans to ban the group, and shortly thereafter, it came out that CAIR, the US branch of the Brotherhood, was cutting $1,000 checks for those who upended campuses in the name of Hamas (the Palestinian branch of the group). Then, nothing. Laura Loomer claims that Qatar got on the phone and told the US to drop the effort. I cannot confirm if such is the case, but it does seem that beyond Texas, efforts to curb this anti-American, antisemitic group have ground to a halt. Obviously, I am not impartial in this discussion, but the Muslim Brotherhood is a direct danger to the United States. One can hear at their marches and rallies that they plan to take out the US and make it into a Sharia state. They happily take down American flags, deface American monuments with their Hamas propaganda, and put keffiyehs on statues of American greats like Ben Franklin. As one Hamas leader said a while back, their goal is that there be no more Judaism or Christianity. They may be focused on Jews and Israel, but their mandate is to get rid of the US and Western Europe as modern liberal democracies. When an imam in Houston told a restaurant owner to stop selling pork, no Jew had a bone in that fight. This is Islam already looking at “the day after” when it goes after Christians and their way of life. The NY Post just this week described Qatar dropping $100 billion at US universities ($10 billion at Cornell alone!) in order to strengthen the Brotherhood and “destroy democracy from within”.
As Orwell warned, words have been manipulated into hiding their real meanings. The Muslims in the West and their lefty friends want all Jews dead and gone. It is not good public relations to say as much, so they have invented a long list of euphemisms to hide their desire to kill all Jews. Jews in Germany did not believe that their lives were in imminent danger, and even those in conquered countries often bought German stories about being relocated to better, safer locations in the East. As the former commandant of Auschwitz said at his Nuremberg trial, they put up some hedges, and most arriving Jews did not know what awaited them in the “showers”. He said that the Polish Jews were different and added SS guards were needed when they arrived because they understood that death was their future. The fate of the US is at stake. Is anyone in Washington ready to take on this monster? Can the administration see Qatar for what it really is?
