The time is soon coming when those who acted against Israel and the Jews get their comeuppance.
We’ve all seen the standard Hollywood action payback movie, like Commando or Rambo. The first quarter of the movie deals with how the hero gets seriously harmed by some terrible group of bad guys. The rest of the flick treats us to his righteous response to the offenses that he has suffered.
Israel for much of its nearly 80 years of existence has acted like the battered girlfriend. Countries, companies, individuals and international organizations have abused her at times, and due to Israel’s either real or perceived position in the world, the country has not fought back. Israel has often been concerned with angering an American president and losing both military support and international backing. Israel is afraid that a big company attacking her might stop doing business locally. Israel has not fought back against the hundreds of anti-Israel UN resolutions out of fear of international isolation.
Oftentimes during the past two years, Israel has been described as fighting a “seven-front war.” The number comes from the ostensible neighbors with whom Israel has been forced to exchange fire. But in reality, Israel has been fighting a hundred front war. Look at the protests in Australia that demand Israel cease to exist. Take a jog over to Denmark where the sovereign fund is terminating investments that have anything to do with Israel. The latest stock it dropped is Caterpillar due to its supplying the key D9 tractors that have left Gaza the region where a second floor is all but nonexistent. Israel has been attacked, threatened, and economically harmed by many players, and the time is coming to not only get even but get ahead. Let’s take a general look.
The UN: The UN was a full partner with Hamas in the atrocities that occurred on October 7, 2023. Its UNRWA members not only participated in the murder and abduction of Israeli citizens, they played a key role in helping Hamas perform the pogrom. Hamas made full use of UNRWA facilities, supplies, equipment, personnel and activities to get ready for the massive attack against Israel. UNRWA taking care of the population let Hamas get down to the business of murder. The UN for months on end refused to condemn the mass rape and murder of Israeli women. Only last month did it begrudgingly censure Hamas for its “sexual violence.” Israel needs to throw out all UN personnel and close all UN facilities in the country. The UN is an antisemitic terrorist organization, and there is no reason why it should have any presence in the country. Arrest warrants for its top officials should be deposited with INTERPOL.
Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey: These three countries were not neutral in this fight. They aided Hamas and worked actively to harm Israel and her interests. Only this week did Turkey tell an Israeli ship to go to Greece to unload its goods. Israel should stop all economic activities with these countries. Additionally, Israel should use the CIA/USAID playbook for overthrowing the governments of these three states. A “journalist” with the official Qatari news service said that Hamas should kidnap more Israeli soldiers. Egypt has been threatening to attack Israel over its closure of the border between the country and Gaza. It's time to sow social confusion and uncertainty. Help ISIS and the Muslim Brotherhood if it gets President al-Sisi to understand that there is a price for aiding Israel’s enemies (all weapons used to date came via Egypt). If Lebanon does not disarm Hezbollah, it should also be pushed towards a renewed civil war. The more Israel’s enemies are putting out local fires, the less time they have to worry about the Jewish state.
Organizers of Western intifada revolution protests: The organizers of these protests demanding the mass murder of Jews must be identified and publicly shamed. Let them never work again. Let their employers be embarrassed to have them as members on their team. Israel needs to actively identify the key players in the U.S., Europe and Australia and make sure that their names and faces are known to potential employers, friends and associates. A key event in the post-war rebuilding of Europe involved the identification and punishment of collaborators. We need to know who at Harvard or in Melbourne took Qatari or Soros money to put together protests demanding the mass murder of Jews and the destruction of Israel. Employers should avoid any student that may have been involved in these protests: give them no quarter and do not employ them. Check their social media feeds for 2023-2025. Let the lot of them park cars or serve coffee for the next 50 years of their lives.
The Palestinians: Arrange for their voluntary egress from the region. No, do not force them out, but make their future prospects bleak and bleaker. This goes for Gaza and for the West Bank. There will be no state and they will be limited to their geographical areas. They will receive no work permits to come into Israel and map out the next pogrom. Let them stay in their enclaves and find that they have no economic future. When they have left, Israel can annex and develop the areas they have abandoned. Make it clear that there will be no Palestinian state and even a reservation system with Israel holding military control is a short-term solution until the locals leave for Jordan or other Arab countries.
The Boycotters: Universities, companies including airlines (Turkey), professional organizations all used the Hamas attack and Israel’s rightful response as an excuse to boycott Israel or Israelis. Professors might find that they were not welcome at professional gatherings. All of Turkey’s air carriers stopped their service with no relation to the security situation (United and Delta have come and gone depending on the situation). This is where Israel in the past has acted like the abused girlfriend: she lets bygones be bygones. Nope. Whoever boycotted needs to be boycotted. Sanctions and the encouragement of others to professionally destroy the boycotters should be the call of the day. No more going back to some university project that was canceled due to Israel protecting its citizens. Drop the bad guys and cause them as much economic, business, and professional pain as possible. Reward companies that kept flying or providing products and services during the war. Punish your enemies and reward your friends in very public ways.
Just as Israel must identify and deal with its enemies, it needs to thank and cherish its friends and supporters. None is bigger than the United States and the current Trump administration. Israel should make it clear that its success on the battlefield and in international relations is heavily related to the support that the country received from President Trump and his cabinet members. Others like Germany should be commended for sticking with Israel in the face of European pressure to enforce weapons embargoes or support an ersatz Palestinian state.
Hezbollah attacked Israel and is on life support. Assad used Syria to move weapons and today he is selling falafel in Red Square. Hamas attacked and today you can see from one end of Gaza to the other without standing on a ladder. The Europeans have given Israel a lot of grief and are about to turn from socialist democracies to Sharia states. Those who harmed or worked against Israel need to be dealt with. As Schwarzenegger promised in Commando: “Sully... you’re a funny guy. That’s why I’ll kill you last.” When he killed him early, he simply updated the bad guy: “I lied.” As to the Jews: those who curse you are cursed, but yes, those who bless you are blessed.
