While the left likes to call anything with two legs and a Republican affiliation a Nazi, the facts of the matter suggest that those on the left are the descendants of the monsters from the Third Reich.
Since the days of Hitler, it has not been uncommon for enemies to hurl the word “Nazi” at one another. Even Jew-hating Muslim countries or terror groups can call one another Nazis, as required. Those who fought to depose Little Assad routinely called him a Nazi, in light of his brutal and murderous actions against parts of the Syrian populace. Donald Trump, Elon Musk and a host of other Republicans and supporters of the president have found themselves called Nazis at various times. And of course, swastikas are one of the favorite designs for scratching into Tesla cars, the product of Musk’s company.
But beyond being a catch-all phrase to describe an enemy, what is a Nazi? One could look at all different aspects of the German National Socialists to pick out which feature makes a current Nazi a Nazi. Jew hatred? Communism hatred? Homosexuality hatred? Their views on religion? Their violence? Which feature do people have in mind when they want to call an enemy a Nazi, beyond simply putting the person beyond the pale? Obviously, if a person is a Nazi, one should not associate with him, talk to him and preferably he should isolate or kill him. There was nothing redeemable about the Nazis then and ostensibly nothing good about those termed Nazis today. People who call Musk and Trump Nazis can never find any good, redeeming feature in their behavior or activities. Bernie Sanders, apparently off of his medication, recently said that Trump closing the border to illegal immigrants and reducing fentanyl entering the country were good things. Sanders, to his credit, does not call Donald Trump a Nazi.

While most people do not bother to figure out how their hated foe is similar to Hitler’s associates, there is one feature that we might want to latch on to. For the Nazi regime to murder millions of Jews, Slavs, homosexuals and others, it had to do one thing. It needed first and foremost to establish a mentality in which not all humans were truly equal. If one can create and instill an immutable idea that Germans and other select races are inherently superior to other human beings, then the wholesale murder of the latter may not be so difficult. There is a famous short video showing Himmler walking by a fenced-off area with thousands of soldiers captured during the blitz entry into Russia. Himmler pointedly holds his nose and makes clear that the stench from the unwashed masses were par for the course for untermenschen—subhumans. The Germans murdered and starved millions of Soviet soldiers. Do you have a problem killing an annoying fly? Would you step on a cockroach scampering across your kitchen floor? If you can reduce some human groups to a similar status, would it be so hard to murder them? The commandant of Auschwitz could write in his diary without any pause about selections and murder of prisoners and immediately afterwards about a wonderful meal of hasenpfeffer he had for lunch. They were all part of a normal Nazi life.
The Germans did not degrade all non-Germanic peoples to the level of Jews and Slavs. Hitler very much wanted a peace agreement with Churchill and would have conducted business with him as near-equals. The Germans murdered Russians wholesale; in France, they killed Jews. As to the non-Jews, they put many into slave labor but they did not round them up and starve them as they had in western Russia.
With the above in mind—namely that part of being a Nazi is seeing other two-legged human beings as being less than oneself—let’s go back to October 7, 2023. What happened in southern Israel is no mystery. Between Hamas videos, uploads to victims’ Facebook accounts, eyewitness accounts and terrorist/prisoner confessions, we have a detailed, macabre view of what occurred during hours of unmitigated rape, torture, sadistic violence, theft, and kidnapping. So when word came out that many Jewish women had been violently gang-raped and murdered, those on the left did not denounce these acts. They understood that they either had to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Jew-hating Muslims or speak out against the violence visited on these women. They threw their lot with Hamas. Whether it was the UN, “me too” hustlers, or standard left-leaning politicians and organizations, they found it very hard to shoot words out of their mouths that would have shown sympathy for fellow human beings who were raped and tortured in the most hideous of ways. Such a lack of comment, when clear denunciations came from most normal people, was reflective of a defective world view. It did not take long before Muslims in the West and their supporters on the left said that the women deserved what they got. They babbled on about settlers, though there were no Jews in Gaza. They said that Israel made Gaza an open-air prison, though Egypt controlled at that time one full border. They said that the attacks occurred in occupied land, though the specific area attacked had been formally recognized as Israel since 1948. In short, those on the left showed their Nazi bonafides when they could not condemn mass rape, murder and torture against other human beings. And they could not do so because in their mind Jews are not higher human beings worthy of their concern and condolences. What is any different between a National Socialist of 1940 who gassed Jews and a Columbia student who sheds no tears for women violently attacked and families murdered together? The real Nazis of our age are not on the right, but back again on the left, where they have decided that certain types of humanity do not deserve the rights and protections they would demand be given them. If their new Muslim friends began to rape them, do you think that they would say that they deserved it or would they demand protection? Those on the left truly include new Nazis. This is no surprise. Look at supposedly anti-fascist Antifa. There is no more close-minded, doctrinaire, and intolerant group. They are the real fascists.
I saw a picture yesterday of signs with the Bibas kids on them. These signs were put up when there was still hope that they would come home alive. Someone drew swastikas on each poster. Those little kids, who had done nothing to anybody, were Nazis? No, sorry, the one making the scribbles, he should change his name to Josef Goebbels and learn how to goose-step.
