Men and women are fundamentally different. Those differences go way back in time, back to the beginning of humanity, and they're not going away, no matter how much some people might like for it to, which is why there's an issue with men who say they're really women in women's sports.
I'm someone who doesn't lose any sleep over how others want to live their lives, just so long as they're not hurting others. That doesn't mean I approve of those choices; it just means I believe you have a right to make terrible decisions. You just can't hurt others as a result of those decisions.
And when it comes to dudes playing women's sports, women get hurt. It's not just that they lose out on opportunities, either. Some get physically injured beyond what would happen if they were playing other women.
And between the ACLU being stupid and leftist commentator Matthew Yglesias being just as dumb, the delusion over those men keeps showing us that we haven't even hit the peak of self-delusion yet.
There is a world in which we are making a case for transgender rights based on universal values of freedom and equality rather than losing on sports edge cases based on obviously untrue assertions about sex differences in strength. pic.twitter.com/hyVwJjkxcz

Alright, let's break down the absolute stupidity involved here.
First, let's look at athletic performance as it currently stands. To do this, I'm going to look at two different events during the last summer Olympics: the 100-meter sprint and weightlifting.
This will illustrate the differences in strength and speed. Let's start with the 100-meter.
American Noah Lyles won the race with a time of 9.79 for the men. For the women? Saint Lucian sprinter Julien Alfred, with a time of 10.72, was nearly a full second slower.
Oblique Seville, who finished eighth for the men, clocked a time of 9.91. That's still far faster than Alfred, the fastest in the women's event.
Now, these are athletes in peak physical condition. They're not people who are necessarily trying to adhere to someone's preconceived notions of what's appropriate for men and women. They're trying to be as fast as they can, and the fastest woman in the field would have lagged behind the slowest man in the Olympic finals, but sure, men and women are just as fast as one another.
With weightlifting, what we're going to see is the total, in kilograms, of two lifts combined. That's the snatch and the clean and jerk.
I'll start with the ladies this time, by looking at the gold medalist in the 71 kg weight class. That would be American Olivia Reeves, whose total was 262 kilograms, which is a lot of weight.
One problem we run into here is that the weight classes for men and women are different. This is because the IOC recognizes that men and women are built differently. So, rather than compare the ladies to the 73 kg weight class for me, let's give them a bit of an edge. It's a truism in any lifting sport that being heavier helps you be stronger, so let's compare Reeves' performance to the 61 kg weight class, just for laughs.
China's Li Fabin got a total of 310 kg.
In other words, while being 22 pounds smaller, he lifted over 105 pounds more than Reeves.
So, men are faster and stronger at the elite levels, despite what Yglesias and the ACLU try to claim. That's pretty inescapable, but there's another metric that these dipsticks always seem to ignore.
If there's no difference between men and women, and no need to keep men out of women's sports, then where are all the transwomen stepping into men's sports and kicking butt? Why aren't we seeing homerun derbies being won by John, who used to be named Janet? Why aren't we seeing trans women kick butt in track or basketball?
For that matter, why did we ever "need" a WNBA? Couldn't these supposedly amazing women's athletes just compete for spots on NBA rosters? Then they could quit griping about not being paid enough, despite literally no one giving a damn about their seasons. Why don't they?
Because no matter how much anyone tries to gaslight the public, everyone knows there are physical differences between the sexes. The fact that they keep trying it is as laughable as it is sad.
