Deranged leftists, though I repeat myself, have had a grand old time pretending that they're not the violent ones. They ignore any incident of leftist violence, label anything they can as right-wing violence, even if the connection is tenuous at best, and pat themselves on the back as good people.
Meanwhile, they ignore that the man debating with Charlie Kirk when he was assassinated was trying to make that claim, and was pretty shaken up afterward.
Well, if the Left is peaceful, then they're being mostly peaceful again, this time in North Carolina:
A Georgia man accused of ripping down a Trump 2024 banner and opening fire on a North Carolina home has been arrested, authorities said.
Benjamin Michael Campbell, 37, was taken into custody on Sept. 30 in Georgia and extradited to North Carolina on Oct. 7, the Swain County Sheriff’s Office said.
He faces charges of felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury, discharging a firearm within an enclosure to incite fear, and willful and wanton injury to personal property.
Campbell was reportedly speeding along a highway in Nantahala Gorge, N.C., on Sept. 6 when he spotted the flag hanging in Mark Thomas’s front yard, Thomas told the New York Post.
He allegedly tore down the banner before firing multiple shots at Thomas from the sunroof of his car, missing him by just a few feet, according to video of the incident.
"He was driving along, saw the sign, slammed on his brakes — you know, had a political trigger moment — and he just had to tear the sign down," Thomas, 62, told the Daily Mail.
Yeah, that's just unhinged.
So he was diddy-bopping down the highway, saw a sign for Trump – something that he's had to have seen a thousand times by now – and decided he needed to stop, wreck the flag, and shoot at the house? I'm sorry, but that's beyond irrational. That's downright unhinged.

I mean, this wasn't last year. This wasn't in the midst or immediate aftermath of the election when people's emotions were high. That wouldn't excuse it by any stretch of the imagination, but at least then I might be able to understand why someone snapped like that.
This is nearly a year later. It took place weeks before the "No Kings" thing, so that likely didn't play a role, and it was just days before Charlie Kirk was assassinated. The timing makes it clear this was just out of the blue.
Of course, the truth is that you can only call Trump and his supporters "Nazi" so many times before someone who believes it figures they need to do something about it. We all hate the Nazis, and for good cause, but the leftists seem to believe that anyone to the right of Mao is a Nazi, which means anyone could be the subject of something like this.
The truth is that we've seen almost nothing from the Left but unhinged rants, insane ramblings, and violence since Trump returned to office. They can't handle losing, so they act like spoiled children when they don't get their way.
That includes lashing out with violence because someone they don't even know disagrees with them.
I swear, it's more and more evidence that they should be kept well away from the reins of power for all eternity.
