Sums It Up: Dem Rep Dresses In Batman Costume As Congress Continues Impeachment Clown Show

UPDATE: Rep. Katie Porter did not change out of her costume before votes:

ORIGINAL:

Boy, thank goodness the so-called adults in the room are voting on the impeachment inquiry resolution today. It is supposedly such a seriously grave matter for the nation's moral psyche and overall confidence in government that California Democratic Representative Katie Porter decided to show up to work today especially dressed for the occasion. No, not in business attire but instead donning a Batman costume for Halloween.

"As House Democrats prepare to officially blow up their Majority with impeachment, @RepKatiePorter is prancing around dressed as Batman," the National Republican Congressional Committee tweeted.

"This is how seriously these clowns are taking impeachment," NRCC added.

Rep. Porter defended her attire by saying she is actually dressed as "Batgirl," not Batman.

Apparently, Rep. Porter changed out of her office before actually heading to the House floor for votes.

Unfortunately for Rep. Porter when asked if "Alfred," as in Batman's butler, received minimum wage, Rep. Porter tried shutting the door in the reporter's face and subsequently dropped her drink, spilling the contents entirely.  She also did not comment how the Green New Deal would impact the Batmobile.

We'll have all the coverage of today's clown show right here on Townhall. Stay tuned.
