A video clip of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz clearly shows why he and Kamala Harris lost the 2024 Presidential Election.
The Harris-and-Walz-ticket lost the popular vote by 2 million and the Electoral College 312-226.
Walz is being interviewed by Minnpost.
Reporter Collin Rugg posted on X.
“NEW: Gov Tim Walz said he let Kamala Harris down in the 2024 election because he is just too nice of a guy. "The teacher in me, and this is a nervous tick or habit that we have when you’re a teacher, when someone next to you is talking, you instinctively nod & listen." The self-righteousness is off the charts.”

The reporter asked about criticism from Harris' recent book. Walz responded with the following.
"The teacher in me, and this is a nervous tick or habit that we have when you’re a teacher, when someone next to you is talking, you instinctively nod & listen." Walz said. “I think she has every right to be critical. I do think I let her down on a couple of things. And I warned him: My Minnesota Nice thing is, if somebody’s being nice to me, I’ll be nice to them - talking about the debate with J.D. Vance.”
The reporter asked: “Do you think you helped JD Vance win by allowing him in that debate to show a more collegial side of himself that perhaps haven’t been evident? Walz responded: “I think I did do that. In the number afterward, I still went up on this…I think in the moment that we were in, and quite honestly, we did not prepare for him to be more cordial. The expectation was that he would do the false attacks and do some of that. And they didn’t. So I’ll give them this. They were well-prepared. But my goal was try to find, you know, getting there. And I’m saying, you know, we all want to fix immigration, but you’re doing, you know, the dogs and cats stuff. What we’re talking about is fixing the system, adjudicating asylum claims faster.”
Walz blamed his poor debate performance on his profession as a teacher.
“The teacher in me. And this is a nervous tick or habit that we have: when someone’s speaking next to you, you instinctively nod and listen and try to listen. And that was viewed as and the vice president took it that I was agreeing with some of the things that were personal attacks on her. And it wasn’t bad at all because when we’re teachers, or in any room, that’s really interesting. It’s dumb as hell but it’s very interesting.”
Harris is still on her book tour. Last week, Harris falsely claimed that the 2024 presidential election was "the closest presidential race in the 21st century in terms of the outcome.”
Harris lost the Electoral College 312-226 and the popular vote by 2 million. In comparison.
The closest presidential race in the 21st century was in 2000 when Al Gore face George W. Bush, according to the American Presidency Project. Bush won the electoral college vote 271-266. Bush beat Gore by just over 547,000 votes for the popular vote.
