Poll: Satisfaction with Abortion Policies Hits 14-Year Low

Americans are growing increasingly wary of abortion laws in the country, according to a recent Gallup poll. A mere 34 percent of U.S. likely voters reported being satisfied with the current abortion policies—the lowest number ever recorded since the poll was launched:

The good news for pro-life advocates is that the pendulum is actually swinging in their favor. The poll found that respondents were twice as likely to favor policies that err on the side of restriction and caution than they were to support, looser, more streamline abortion procedures.

"Pro-life," according to Marjorie Jones Dannenfelser, President of the Susan B. Anthony List, "has potential to be the kind of issue that speaks to working class Americans, to Hispanics, to Catholics, and to women."
