Kid Rock Blasts Media, Says Left-Wing Narrative Driving Political Derangement

Appearing on Jesse Watters Primetime, Kid Rock didn’t hold back when calling out what he described as a media-fueled “nuthouse” on the Left. The outspoken musician placed the blame for growing political hostility—and even recent violence—squarely on the shoulders of the corporate press, which he labeled “public enemy number one.”

Kid Rock pointed to his own history as an example of true tolerance, having performed at both Barack Obama’s and President Donald Trump’s inaugurations, despite ideological differences. “I didn’t vote for Obama,” he said, “but I respected the presidency.” He also highlighted his recent trip to the White House with Bill Maher, someone he called “one of Trump’s biggest adversaries,” to underscore his efforts at bridging political divides—efforts, he noted, that the mainstream media has conveniently ignored.

Instead, Kid Rock argued, the press is more interested in manufacturing division.

“Just look at the garbage coming from the New York Times and other media nuthouses,” he said. “It’s absolutely ridiculous.”

He pointed to the recent assassination of Charlie Kirk and how left-wing media outlets are already twisting the narrative to blame Kirk for the violence against him—an absurdity that, the rockstar believes, only further fuels deranged actions.

“I’ve been called a racist and a Nazi for years just because I support Trump,” he continued. “People read these hit pieces, and then some unhinged kid, isolated and brainwashed by the garbage on streaming platforms, decides he’s going to ‘go kill a Nazi.’ This stuff escalates, and the media knows it.”

Kid Rock didn’t just vent—he issued a warning: the toxic mix of dishonest media, cultural decay, and leftist hysteria is pushing the country to a breaking point. His solution? “We need to bring the freaking nuthouse back,” he said bluntly, arguing that mental illness, media lies, and the glorification of violence are combining into a deadly cocktail.

His message was clear: this isn’t about politics anymore—it’s about survival. And the media is no longer just biased; it’s dangerous.
