Democrat's Campaign Cash Pipeline from the Far-Left Elite

Former Gov. of North Carolina Roy Cooper (D) has tried to present himself as a "moderate" in public, but the truth is much more complicated to ignore. Instead, he's been bankrolled by the far-left for years. According to recent reports, Cooper is already fundraising with none other than radical California Democrat Adam Schiff, who is best known for leading the partisan witch hunt against President Donald Trump. Cooper’s connection to far-left fundraising isn’t new. It’s part of a long-standing pattern of relying on elite donors rather than the people he claims to represent in North Carolina.

According to reports from his past campaigns, Cooper has taken in 503 contributions totaling $420,484 from New York and 417 contributions amounting to $185,165 from California. Both of these states are liberal strongholds where the values of working-class North Carolinians are regularly mocked and ignored. Among those big-name donors are George Soros, Alexander Soros, and Ralph Lauren each maxing out with $5,400 checks. George Soros has poured millions into efforts to defund the police and reshape the criminal justice system.

Cooper has also been funded by the Sierra Club and the Human Rights Campaign, which are two far-left organizations that support Green New Deal-style climate regulations and radical gender ideology in schools. Their agendas have little to do with the values of North Carolinians, but everything to do with Cooper’s path to higher office.

Now that Cooper is eyeing a U.S. Senate seat, it’s no surprise he is tapping into the far-left elitist donor network that he has long relied on throughout his time as Governor.
