In Just 48 Hours, Trump Reshapes the Middle East and Silences Doubters

The White House

In just 48 hours, President Donald Trump proved once again why strong leadership matters on the world stage. Trump acted decisively in recent days, authorizing one of the most secretive and successful military operations in U.S. history-- obliterating Iran’s nuclear program, and brokering a ceasefire that brought an end to the 12-Day War between Israel and Iran. This historic string of victories wasn’t luck—it resulted from President Trump’s unwavering commitment to American strength, peace through power, and a foreign policy rooted in bold action.

On Monday, shortly after Iran launched a strike on a U.S. base in Guam, President Trump announced a ceasefire between Israel and Iran, ending days of escalating attacks fueled by Tehran’s nuclear ambitions. His commitment to restoring peace once again proved effective, earning praise from both sides of the political aisle.

A plane flying over the Hudson River near New York City pulled a banner with a message of thanks for Trump. The banner included two Israeli flags and read, “THANK YOU, PRESIDENT TRUMP.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked Trump for brokering the deal and bringing peace to the Middle East.

"President Trump is boldly leading the free world,” Netanyahu said. “He is a tremendous friend of Israel — a friend like no other. On behalf of myself, the citizens of Israel, and the entire Jewish people, I thank him from the bottom of my heart. And I know, fellow citizens, that I speak from the depths of each and every one of your hearts. We stand together. We fight together.”

Sen. Jim Banks (R-IN) said Trump deserves a Nobel Peace Prize. At the same time, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard said that only Trump could have achieved the historic ceasefire agreement that brings America one step closer to peace.

President Trump accomplished what every president since Bill Clinton only talked about but never delivered: stopping Iran’s nuclear program. While past administrations issued warnings and drew red lines, it took just six months for Trump to do what none of them could—get the job done.

The best part? Not a single American soldier was lost in the process.

It's important to note that more Americans lost their lives during former President Joe Biden’s chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan than during Trump’s swift and strategic military operation in Iran-- that many critics claimed was "WWIII."

House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.) also thanked Trump for his strong leadership, saying Monday’s actions exemplify what “peace through strength” and the “America First” approach truly look like.
