Prepare to Spend A Massive Amount for Your Labor Day Cookout

Prepare to empty your wallets this Labor Day weekend as the price of food and other goods skyrockets again under the Biden-Harris Administration.

Thanks to the Biden-Harris’ destructive economic policies, Americans will pay an arm and a leg for staple food items at the grocery store. Since January 2021, when President Joe Biden first took office, the price of ground beef has shot up 26 percent. The recent Consumer Price Index (CPI) data found that grocery items increased by 22 percent when former President Donald Trump left the White House.

As expected, the Federal Reserve inflation tracker increased in July, with the personal consumption expenditures price index rising 0.2 percent— a 2.5 percent increase from a year ago.

However, during Vice President Kamala Harris’ first major interview since officially securing the Democratic nomination, she refused to take accountability for the nation’s economic downfall. Instead, she blamed the record-high inflation on former President Donald Trump despite only being 1.4 percent when Biden and Harris took office.

“We've brought inflation down to a higher level than it was during President Trump's administration,” Harris told CNN’s Dana Bash.

On the contrary, grocery prices rose just 6.3 percent under the Trump Administration over the first 42 months of his term. In contrast, in the first 42 months of the Biden-Harris Administration, the U.S. saw the biggest rise in food inflation under any president since 1981.

Americans might not need to worry about the price of ground beef after Harris fears Americans into thinking the consumption of red meat is bad for the environment as she pushes her radical climate change agenda. Just before she dropped out of the 2020 race, she suggested she would advocate for changing the government’s dietary guidelines of consuming less red meat “in light of the impact of climate change.”

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to admit that prices were lower under Trump.

“Eggs and milk, and there were grocery things that were up — it has gone down. It has gone down since 2022,” Jean-Pierre said in June. However, prices of food and services increased on average about 20 percent since Biden took office.

The Street reported that in 2021, prices increased 6.3 percent. In 2022, prices rose a whopping 10.4 percent, and in 2023, prices increased again, with the index up 2.7 percent.
