President Trump highlighted a multitude of legislative accomplishments at his third State of the Union address, including his record-breaking number of judicial confirmations across the board.

President Trump also recognized his Supreme Court nominees, Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, who have been crucial in bringing strict Constitutionalism back to the high court:

President Trump rightfully recognized the tireless work of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to push qualified jurists through the Senate to be confirmed. Leader McConnell has been instrumental in re-shaping the federal judiciary, and in confirming two well-qualified jurists to the Supreme Court.

This accomplishment marks another campaign promise fulfilled by President Trump. He continues to transform the federal bench alongside Leader McConnell, working to end the trend of nominating activist judges, as former President Obama was notorious for. Together, President Trump and Leader McConnell have prioritized putting real jurists, who value the rule of law above all else, on judicial benches nationwide.
