The Left is very adept at playing the victim. Their entire worldview and political structure is based on it, after all. They look at everything through the lens of oppressor v. oppressed, and they—or their preferred constituencies—are always in the latter category.
Even when the exact opposite is true.
Take the trans agenda, for example. Here, we have a minority of mentally ill people, usually men, and their supporters who have made a career out of targeting and bullying women and girls who object to these males in their sports, locker rooms, bathrooms, sororities, rape crisis centers, maternity wards, lactation groups, and lesbian dating apps.
I was raised to believe that "No" is a complete sentence, and that if my gut told me a situation was wrong, I should listen to that intuition. We've now started teaching a generation of girls and women that we should not only not listen to that intuition, but that it's wrong and even bigoted to do so. The Biden administration essentially tried to criminalize women's objections to such nonsense with its rewrite of Title IX, classifying such objections as discrimination.
And now we're accused of being bullies for standing up for our rights.

New Hampshire girls bullied a transgender boy to stop playing soccer.

Nobody bullied that boy to stop playing soccer. He was, and remains, free to play with boys. But that's never the solution. It's always women and girls who have to sacrifice their rights, their dignity, and even their basic humanity to appease the trans activist crowd.
But who are the real bullies here? The women and girls who express their opinions and exercise their legal and constitutionally protected rights, or the vocal minority who abuse, harass, threaten, and even harm those women and girls?
The answer is, of course, the latter.
On June 26, I wrote about Ella Frei, the Wisconsin high school student standing up for girls' sports. For doing so, Frei says she was harassed and bullied by classmates and teachers.
They taped maps in our hallways telling girls where else to go. We were expected to perform humiliation rituals so the adults wouldn’t have to make a decision. Then they hired lawyers to make our case disappear.

Yesterday, I decided to once again confront my school board. pic.twitter.com/s6v2HlYcvb
"All I've ever asked for is to be able to have safety and privacy in bathroom and locker rooms and fairness in my sport. That's it," she said. "This was never about a bathroom. The same rule that lets a boy into girls' bathrooms lets a boy onto girls' teams."
"I stopped using the bathroom in my own school. I've had people threaten my life. I turned 17 while strangers online talked about what they'd like to do to me," Frei continued, "and some of the adults who work in this building join in on it."
Frei said the school offered girls a pass if they were late to class because they had to use single-stall restrooms and not the regular ones, because officials refuse to prohibit a boy from entering the restroom.
Who are the bullies again?
WNBA player Sophie Cunningham just came out in favor of protecting women's sports. The WNBA of all places should welcome that. Men in women's sports harm them disproportionately. Imagine if LeBron James decided he was a woman and joined the WNBA. Would that be fair? No.
She too is getting hate for her stance.
"I got a lot of negative feedback about me hating trans. And I'm like, 'I never once said that. ' I think that I am here to extend love. But I also think with that love is truth, being honest. And I want to protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who… pic.twitter.com/HDiAmYzFKN

A 10-year-old girl wanted to be an Olympic swimmer. At her Lynnwood, WA, rec center, she was greeted by a naked, fully intact man in her locker room.
Maria's 10-year-old daughter wants to be an Olympic swimmer. During her first meet, there was a male with his "giant d*ck" out in the women's locker room at the Lynnwood (WA) Rec Center. As I've written about extensively, school officials have forced girls to change in front of boys, and punished them for refusing to do so. In Virginia, Richard Cox—a known sex offender—used his trans identity to gain access to female spaces and expose himself to women and girls.
Lesbians on dating apps are accused of being transphobic if they reject the men who insist they have "girl penis" and want to date women. There was a time the Left would have been appalled by a man saying such a thing, but if that man says he's a woman, I guess now it's okay. Lesbians have been run off dating apps.
In many prison systems, men who say they're women are housed with the women. There, they abuse and rape the female inmates, and those female inmates are the ones who are punished. Tremaine Carroll did that in California, and officials allowed him to rape not one, not two, but three female inmates before removing him. In 2024, several former female inmates testified about the punishments they received for speaking out, including solitary confinement and revocation of early release from prison.
Women have been fired. J.K. Rowling has had to increase security because she gets death threats for acknowledging a basic biological reality that we understood for millennia, or right up until a bunch of overeducated leftists with too much time on their hands decided there were 57 genders and any who said otherwise was an irredeemable bigot.
the trans youth sports issue at its core always distills down to a single question: is it okay to bully children for their identity? https://t.co/EBSg7xXFeE

No one is bullying trans kids. The trans activist crowd, however, is perfectly content to bully women and girls who don't bend the knee to their unfair, twisted, and misogynistic agenda.
And I'll ask again a question that trans activists and allies never seem to be able to answer: why do the rights of the majority of women, including lesbians, take a backseat to the small minority of unwell males? Why do the rights of the minority trump those of the majority?
And why is it okay for trans activists to bully girls to get their way?
