Zohran Mamdani wasn’t destined to win. There was plenty of time to beat him, but that would’ve needed his opponents to work together. Someone had to step aside to unify the vote, but in politics, egos run deep. Considering the mood of the Democratic Party, it’s clear how Mamdani got here, but this exchange between a Fox News reporter and one of the mayor’s supporters reveals everything.
The irony is that his inability to answer is, in fact, an answer. Mamdani hasn’t done anything free busing isn’t happening, the free grocery stores are a terrible idea, and rents have skyrocketed. Many of the city's major companies might consider relocating, especially to Florida. When pressed by the reporter, he couldn’t name a single thing, but the vibes are off the charts, apparently. Just unserious people:
🚨 NEW: Fox reporter: “So how are things going under Mamdani?”

Resident: “Fantastic”
Fox reporter: “What are some of the promises he’s made that he’s delivered on?”
Resident: “Err, thus far I can’t be too specific… but people are excited.”

It must be nice not to have to worry about anything, man. Really. In other news, if Mamdani was considering arresting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his visit to New York City as part of his trip to the United Nations, that's not happening, per President Trump.
It's a four-year theater performance, and it sucks.
