I am old enough to remember when the Left said they only wanted abortion to be 'safe, legal, and rare.' It was still abhorrent, of course, but at least they pretended to be moderates on the issue. Those days, unfortunately, are gone.
Now, Democrats and their Leftist allies want abortion to be the norm. It's why they're pedaling the anti-science, anti-medicine nonsense that any procedure involving the uterus is an 'abortion,' classifying the delivery of a healthy baby as an 'abortion,' and doing everything they can to broaden the definition to it appears that every woman has had an abortion. If their definition is expanded to include medical procedures involving the uterus and deliveries of babies, it would mean I have had four abortions: one for a surgical procedure and the births of my sons.
I find that insulting and offensive.
But what the Left ultimately wants is more abortions. More dead babies and more broken women. They're not shy about it — they have merch to 'shout your abortion' after all — but now they've resorted to emotional blackmail.

And they think they're the good guys here. It's the same emotional manipulation they engage in when conservatives oppose the ever-expanding welfare state.
"If you don't let the government pay for someone's bills, you're not pro-life!" It's imperative that all sane people reject all this nonsense.
Texas, including Houston, has a Safe Haven Law that allows parents to legally surrender infants up to 60 days after birth, no questions asked. There is not one legitimate pro-life movement that demands pregnant women who don't want to be mothers keep their babies. That has never been a tenet of the pro-life movement.
All we've asked is that you don't kill babies in the womb. There's no fundamental difference, developmentally, between the infant left to die and the infant who is at eight months of gestation, by the way. That is a fully formed baby and not the disposable 'clump of cells' the Left routinely claims unborn children are.
Now it seems we have to ask the Left not to commit infanticide, too, and to object to them using newborn children as hostages in their fervent pursuit of unfettered abortion-on-demand.
