I am old enough to remember the days of "stranger danger" in schools, when we were taught to trust our gut around people who made us feel uncomfortable, even if we couldn't articulate why. That instinct is one of survival, one embedded in our very DNA, and further honed through education and awareness.
It served me well in third grade when a strange man pulled up to the bus stop and offered us all a ride to school. We did everything we were taught: scream no, and back away. He drove off, and we reported it to the school, which called the police. Nowadays, however, depending on how the man driving the car "identified," we might have gotten in trouble for being transphobic.
Perhaps that's hyperbole, but there's more than a kernel of truth there. After decades of telling women and girls to trust their gut, and just a few short years after the Me Too movement, society is now telling women and girls that their gut instincts are bigoted. This comes in the form of trans activists who insist that mentally ill men cosplaying as women not only have a right to our safe spaces, but that we have an obligation to welcome and appease them.
Anything less than an enthusiastic celebration of these usurpers of womanhood is nothing more than rank bigotry. Besides, the Left tells us, transgender people pose no threat to our safety.
That, of course, is gaslighting of the highest order. Much in the way that voter fraud "never happens," until we get a laundry list of cases proving it does, British comedian and screenwriter Graham Linehan just published a list of all the violent and sexual offenses committed by "trans-identfied males" against women and girls.

That thing that "never happens" actually happens quite a bit.
Here are just a few examples of these horrific cases, and I'll warn you these stories are disturbing and not suitable for some readers.
In 2019, "Katie Dolatowski" sexually assaulted a ten-year-old girl in the bathroom of a Morrison's supermarket in Fife, Scotland. Dolatowski forced the girl into a cubicle and made her remove her pants. He was also accused of using his phone to spy on a young girl in the toilet of a Asda store in Halbeath weeks prior. Despite that, Dolatowski was not sentenced to prison. Instead, he was given "a three-year community order, banned from having contact with children, placed on the sex offenders’ register and ordered to complete 100 hours’ unpaid work."
A high-risk sex offender moved near several Hudson Valley schools in Dutchess County, New York, in 2018. Stephen Ricciardi, who identified as a woman named Stephanie or Steph Ricciardi, was convicted of assaulting a 13-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl in 2006. He was convicted of rape and criminal sex acts.
Daryl Graves, also known as Dejshontaye Goddeszholliwould, was convicted of aggravated manslaughter of his aunt, Patricia Graves, in 2019. He was serving a 25-year sentence in a New Jersey prison. In 2022, Graves began identifying as female and was transferred to a women's prison. He's now one of five men in the facility, and those men were placed in segregation after two female inmates became pregnant. According to one inmate, prison officials segregated the men to protect women, as those men were "sexually harassing female inmates, or actively seeking sexual relationships" with them.
In Germany, Jayson David B. murdered a 40-year-old woman who was voluntarily receiving psychiatric treatment at a Munich clinic. David B. was arrested after he murdered his dog and told authorities he "acted on divine orders" and that he intended to kill a human being next. Despite this, the Isar-Amper Clinic put David B. on a ward with vulnerable females because he was described as "male by sex, female by appearance." The day after he was admitted, he beat Kamilla Nagy with a shower bar, then strangled her with a sweater before he piled furniture and clothing on her body and set it on fire.
In 2024, Joshua ("Ash") Cooper, 18, murdered a 12-year-old girl with whom he had an alleged sexual relationship at a home in Bensalem, PA. He began transitioning after his arrest and was sentenced to 15 years in prison for the crime.
And, as we've covered here at Townhall, registered sex offender Richard Cox terrorized women and girls in Virginia's Fairfax and Arlington Counties, going so far as to have children's swim class schedules saved on his phone. Cox was repeatedly caught exposing himself to women and girls in locker rooms in those counties, and hid behind his trans identity to get away with his abuse. On February 5, an Arlington jury found him guilty of two counts of possessing child pornography and he's awaiting a second trial related to his repeated indecent exposure.
Remember, the Left will insist up and down that I have to give up my guns, which have harmed no one, to "save one life." But they then adopt and ruthlessly enforce "trans-friendly" policies that put the lives and safety of women and girls at risk. In March of last year, administrators at an Illinois middle school were busted after they forced girls to change in front of a trans-identifying boy in a Deerfield school locker room.
What happened to saving one life?
The reality is this: Democrats in America, and Leftists abroad, have no interest in protecting any lives. Everyone and anyone is political fodder for their agenda. In this case, they've decided that the rights of "trans women" trump the rights and safety of women and girls. That's why they allow men in our locker rooms, our maternity wards, our lactation classes, and even our rape crisis centers. They don't care who is hurt, or even killed, if it means advancing their current pet cause even one inch.
And if you question this, or dare to stand up to it, they'll bombard you with harassment and death threats. They'll threaten your job, attempt to drag you through the courts, and even throw you in prison. Then they'll turn around and tell us this never happens, and we're perfectly safe if we open up our bathrooms and sports to mentally ill men (just a few short years after they told us all men are rapists, mind you).
But for the rest of us, we look at this list of 236 incidents of that thing that "never happens," and we see nothing but insanity. Dangerous, deadly, yet largely preventable insanity. And we will continue to fight and push back against the Leftists who continue to rack up an alarming body count in the name of helping the Alphabet Mafia.
