New CNN Poll: Even Democrats Are Done With Democrats

A new CNN poll shows that even Democrats are fed up with Democrats, with over half saying congressional Democrats have the wrong priorities, and nearly three-quarters of all voters saying the same.

CNN's Harry Enten argued that the polling data "screams primary challenges," as Democrats continue to struggle to form a cohesive movement for the 2026 midterm elections and 2028, that doesn't revolve around opposition to President Trump.

"These numbers are just atrociously awful. A double A for the Democrats here. I mean, just take a look here. Congressional Dems have the right priorities. Look at this. Overall, 74 percent, nearly three in four say no," Enten said. "Just 25 percent overall say yes."

"You might say, okay, well, at least Dems like Democrats. Uh-uh, not the case," he continued.  "Look at this. The majority of Democrats are independents who lean Democrat...Fifty-five percent say no, Congressional Democrats do not have the right priorities. And then you just see a minority, 45 percent of Democrats say that Congressional Democrats have the right priorities."

"This to me just jumps out at the screen because it screams primary challenges all over the map," Enten added.

This comes as Democrats have used Americans as pawns in their battle against the president, allowing the government to enter a partial shutdown and preventing federal workers from receiving pay. They have continued to fight to withhold funding from Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and parts of Customs and Border Protection as Congress works to pass a DHS funding bill.

Meanwhile, Americans have faced long airport lines, and government workers went more than 40 days without pay, as they struggled to provide for their families.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer declared the latest funding bill a success.

"This is exactly what we wanted," he said. "This is what we asked for, and I'm very proud of my caucus. My caucus held the line."
