Illegal Immigrant Arrested for Allegedly Voting in 2024 Pennsylvania Federal Election

An illegal immigrant was arrested in Pennsylvania after he reportedly voted in the 2024 federal election.

Mahady Sacko, 50, of Philadelphia, was arrested and charged by criminal complaint with fraudulent voting in the 2024 federal election by an illegal alien.

Sacko is an illegal alien who was ordered deported in 2000.

Despite being an illegal alien, Sacko allegedly unlawfully voted in person in the 2024 general election for federal office. Sacko falsely represented that he was a U.S. citizen in order to vote and register to vote.

If convicted, the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of five years in prison.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The charges and allegations contained in the indictment are merely accusations.

Every defendant is presumed to be innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.

One lawmaker used the example as a reason to pass the SAVE Act. The bill would prohibit states from processing voter applications in a federal election unless the applicant presents documentary proof of U.S. citizenship.

The bill specifies what documents are considered acceptable proof of U.S. citizenship, such as identification that complies with the REAL ID Act of 2005 that indicates U.S. citizenship.

The U.S. House passed the bill in February. Now, it must pass the Senate and be signed into law to activate.

President Donald Trump supports the SAVE Act.
