This week, Townhall covered how left-wing climate activist Greta Thunberg embarked on a week-long journey sailing to Gaza.
Thunberg was joined with several other liberal activists who aim to breach Israel’s naval blockade in the region. They departed on the “Madleen” from the port of Catania in southern Italy.

The activist is sailing on a small boat with 11 other activists to “stand in solidarity” with Palestinians and plans to land in Gaza.

Thunberg, 22, gained notoriety as a teenager for being outspoken about climate change. It appears she ditched that cause and fully embraced the so-called “Free Palestine” cause.
Israel did not stay silent on the matter.
On Wednesday, Israel warned that it is prepared to “act accordingly” to stop the boat.
According to the New York Post, some of the passengers on the boat spotted drones from the Greek coast guard following them. However, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that it was also monitoring the vessel.

Thunberg’s shipmate claimed they need help after spotting a drone.

“For this case as well, we are prepared,” IDF spokesman Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin told the Times of London.
“We have gained experience in recent years, and we will act accordingly.”
It is highly possible that the Madleen will be stopped and not reach its destination.
“We are doing this because no matter what odds we are against, we have to keep trying, because the moment we stop trying is when we lose our humanity,” Thunberg said in remarks before her departure.
