Pam Bondi Drops the Hammer on States Defying Trump's Trans Athlete Executive Order

Townhall previously covered how President Donald Trump signed an executive order banning so-called “transgender women” from women’s sports.

Despite this, the Democrat states of Minnesota, California, and Maine have openly flouted this order.

Trump addressed Maine Gov. Janet Mills about this at the White House.

This week, Trump’s attorney general, Pam Bondi, issued a stern warning to these states, following up on what Trump said.

“Let me be clear. Requiring girls to compete against boys in sports and athletic events violates Title IX of the Educational Amendments Act of 1972…Where federal and state law conflict, states and state entities must follow federal law – not because we live in a dictatorship but because the Constitution requires states to follow the supreme law of the land,” Bondi wrote.

Bondi told each state that they should be “on notice” and that investigations have begun.

“The Department of Justice stands ready to take all appropriate action to enforce federal law,” she concluded.

Despite the lies from the leftist media, President Donald Trump and his administration were given a mandate to take a chainsaw to the federal government, and the American people have his back.
